Looks like Steam now changed the pricing of games for us Canadians. Same with the wallet currency. So what do you fellow Canadian members here think of this now?

Same with that new NBA 2K15 being at 70$ Canadian
Seriously what's the point of buying new games in digital download when the cd version with the case and everything costs the same.

I agree. No point of buying these games right away when you can just wait for a Steam sales instead.

Unless you can find the games you want cheaper than Steam at launch, always wait for a sale. That being said, Green Man Gaming has some epic sales that include Steam Keys. I got Bioshock Infinite from GmG for like £7.50 and thats with a Steam key. It was £14.99 on the Steam Sale at the exact same time.

Origin + Hola works well also for games that aren't steam exclusive. Shit is cheap in mexico...
Lots of Americans intimidated by Canada in this thread. Just because you're a bunch of 300 lb keyboard warriors doesn't mean you have to be jealous of us beautiful people. It's alright to admit it. In fact, it's the first step to recovery.
I'd grab my flame shield but I don't need to be shielded from any of these obese dorks. They'll collapse from exhaustion before they can even finish typing a message in response, let alone actually doing anything about it.
Dat gloriously lol worthy currency:
It's legit effective bro. I open my wallet and can immediately pick out a $5 from a $20, without having to look for the face of some dead asshole.

Ewww old bills. New ones are better. Who wants lame ass paper money?
Are they old? Still lol-worthy if those were real at any point in time though :P
lol. Yup, we use polymer bills now...

It's just best to ignore them any American with have a brain knows that the US is far from what it used to be. A shit storm is coming and the US is the last place I would want to be anyway.
@SolidTy: I think the lowest in the country is now $10.20
Wow, that's great. That's pretty high in Canada compared to the federal minimum wage of $7.25 USD per hour in the US (Link to the United States website, Dept. of Labor). People got used to United States prices (like games over the last few years) whilst earning a much higher out-of-US minimum wages in Canada.
On top of that, "The United States is the only industrialized democracy that has a two-tiered minimum wage," according to Maria Myotte, national communications coordinator of ROC. Tipped workers (like Bar and Wait staff) can get a minimum wage of only $2.13 an hour. I know, I dated a waitress once upon a time. Some states are nicer than others of course.
Typical crap Canadians have to put up with, oh well at least now the Euro's and Aussies will have company when the steam sales suck for all non Americans.

Tip workers still get shafted up here, I'm just not familiar with how low that goes. I personally never intend to try my hand at that industry for that reason, and a general distain for humanity that fast food work left me with.
Ya I've noticed a price increase because of this. Which fucking sucks. Just means I buy less games. When are companies going to learn the cheaper your tittles the more of them I can buy.

Depending where you work that hourly wage may not even matter. I know of waitresses in the city where I work that make more in a year than I do but my hourly wage is 10 x what they get.
