As if achievements weren't enough, Steam has decided to introduce a whole new level of mania for all of its OCD members by introducing profile badges. Go to your profile reight now, and see what emblems you have on the right side. The Steam Badges are sort of like the Achievements/Emblems that Gamespot hand out, but knowing Valve, are bound to be more fun.

Ahead of the impending Steam Sale, I guess this can keep everyone occupied for another hour or so :P

My new avatar is from one of the greatest games ever created, and from one of my all time favorites. Funnily enough, this game was made by Microsoft.

It is a really good game; I also like Age of Empires series and have been playing the 2nd one recently.

I normally don't care about achievements but I am a little disapointed that the 'years of service' achievement is only for 3 years with steam. I'd imagine theres a lot less people out there thats had a steam account since 2003 :P

actually 2002-2003 were beta product periods the official release was 2004, if you had signed up 2003 for the official release you'd have 10 years on your badge :P
