Starfield DLC and Possibly a Performance Mode on the Way! Update: Comfirmed!

“Greg Miller of Kinda Funny had a roughly 40-minute-long interview with Todd Howard, of Bethesda fame. During the interview, Todd stated that Starfield's first expansion, Shattered Space, will be released in the Fall of 2024. Shattered Space is included for owners of the Starfield Gold Edition and is potentially going to focus on the elusive House Va'ruun.”

They also discussed new display modes coming to Starfield on “console“ 🤔 I will link to a video of that portion when it’s available.

I'm gonna wait for the goty edition in 2026, IF MS are still selling discs by then that is, very doubtful.

Well, some cows here will have you believe that Microsoft won't even be selling xboxes in 2026, lol. But yeah, discs are dying fast. If you want discs your only option seems to be buying those old school Sega Saturn games that you talked about a while ago.

The game is an utter disaster. This hopium 60fps will save the day as much as it saved Redfall.

Game is bad. Forget it exists, and hope ES6 isn't built on the same 25 years formula.

yeah they've got to be thinkin about cashing in on that. everyone i speak to is loving it. problem is the tv show has real high production values. bethesda need a new engine and a big graphical overhaul to match. put your hand in your pocket ms. or amazon

Yeah, when physical goes on console (MS is trying its hardest to destroy physical) people will regret it because the marketplaces of MS/Sony/Nintendo will create a monopoly for each company.

But yeah i'm still buying retro, currently waiting on a Saturn game in the mail. I just turned my Xbox on for the first time this week in over 3 months, just been playing retro.

So many expansions are planned (google is too far away to use)? I'm basically holding off until the game is patched and the expansions are out, then just buying the whole lot in one go.

If a Bethesda game is dead on a platform where they are the most popular, you can only imagine how dead the game is on the Xbox. I don't need to tell you this, but just like Redfall, there won't be anyone left to enjoy the 60fps mode. Starfield failed, and we need to move past that.

I didn't hate Starfield but to be frank I have absolutely zero reason to go back, including this DLC.

Oh good, they're adding in something that should have been in the base game since it was heavily hinted at and there was a lot of side quests around it but literally no real substance around it.

When I was playing this I wanted to check out House Varunn or join them, nothing, they gave us nothing.

Shame too because of the 3 factions in the war or w/e I thought they sounded the coolest

Yeah, they couldn't have teased/trolled us harder with House Varunn if they tried.

As someone that really enjoyed the Dark Brotherhood in Elder Scrolls and skewing towards evil and/or unlawful in Fallout, I found the one "evil" faction in Starfield (the pirates) a huge letdown. Just completely one-dimensional "Rawr I'm a pirate and I will dick you over rawr I'm unlikeable but that's OK because why have depth of character and nuance when you're a pirate rawr"
