Star Wars: BF on X1 1st (EA Access) - 3rd person confirmed?

Star Wars: Battlefront will be playable first on Xbox One, thanks to EA Access.

That's according to Microsoft game marketing lead Aaron Greenberg, who tweeted confirmation of the news on Twitter.

I think the same applied to Battlefield: Hardline. Chances are Sony will still have the marketing deal though.

What sucks for SW's purposes is almost all launch with PC and are "console" exclusive like Tom Raider and Street Fighter.

I think the trend will continue but at the same time I also think there will be enough must have standout exclusives for each within the next coupe years so it's all good IMO.

For EA to take advantage of this either the marketing deal is with Xbox or there will be no marketing deal.

Every EA game comes out on EA Access first, regardless of marketing deals. The PS4 does not have EA Access since Sony turned it down, therefore it comes to Xbox One first. This also applied to Battlefield: Hardline which had a marketing deal with Sony.

This also applies to Star Wars: Battlefront which will also have a marketing deal with Sony.

It won't be, but few games are as good as JK2.

Except this is Star Wars, and EA wants to make money, and don't say "which will" when we have nothing at all to actually suggest it will be marketed yet outside some random guys.

If it were a true exclusive I'd have bought an Xbox one... I just wish Microsoft remembered what a true exclusive is :/ I have no problem filling their coffers when they provide unique content I can't get elsewhere.

Considering the state of BF4 at launch, I'm not sure why anyone would want to risk another Dice title anywhere near the initial release date.

@TigerSuperman: outside of indies? You mean a stack of high quality games not on the other console? Currently, I'd take the likes of resogun, Axiom Verge, rogue legacy, OlliOlli, and Titan souls over the lot of retail exclusives on xone... And understanding they are not all solely exclusive to ps4, they are no where to be found on xone, adding legitimate worth to the ps4.

And yes, in terms of AAA games, there is very little worthy parity between xone and ps4. one has bloodborne, one has sunset overdrive, yadda Yadda.... But my statement stands.... Give me a reason to love the xone for its unique content and I'm sold.... A 5 day advantage isn't putting an xone in my home. Sorry....
