CIG have partnered with The Imaginarium Studios to help them with motion capturing in game and cutscenes. The Imaginarium previously worked on Lords of the Rings, King Kong and Rise of Planets of the apes. They are currently working on Star Citizen, Jungle Book Origins and Starwars: Episode 7.

Must admit I'd be lying if I said a mining ship with LTI wasn't tempting. £227.50 is a tad expensive though

Unlikely imo. The mining bots are really tall. It'd take extremly large deck to carry even 1 of them. And going by the dimension sheet, the Orion isn't big enough for it.

They'll probably be used where mining stations are.

@deadline-zero0: yeah I haven't really read up on it,they was saying you could own one though,must be stored on stations like you said.

I would like to see how they are coming along, the last we saw of them was a white box model over a year ago.

They're probably property of the station, so being able to use one should be related to a job or mission or whatever in the PU.

If we can get to own one, than store is going to be interesting. If you look for the pics, you see a Hornet next to it. it's a towering beast. I'm not even sure if a Bengal can carry them.

I just hope we get to to use on in the campaign

They also had face tracking in the video. You can see some of the actors wearing Cara(?) cameras and markers on their face.

I think it would still be a grindfest even if Activsion wasn't involved. It seem like they wanted make it almost like a MMO.

The Orion is 170m. The Bengal is 1000m. Basically it's 6 Orion's in lenght. With full detail, moving parts and PBR. My pc is dead.

Can't wait to do my first fly by of a Bengal. Even better will be the first ship defence mission :)

These give some idea of ship scale, although the Orion isn't on these yet.

Lol i only just noticed this little guy here,he's like an ant compared to some of these ships,and these are not even the largest :P

@GarGx1: Those first 2 aren't really accurate since it's somewhat old. You can see Orion right above the Retaliator when it was only 80m. It's been increase to the huge 170, currently.

So it's best to just go by the the third picsince it uses the current models.

Even more impressive, imo, is the amount of walkable space inside these ships. When i saw TA's video of the Redeemer i wasn't shocked at how much room they crammed inside that thing.

The Javelin and Bengal will probably have enough moveable space to match a small level in traditional linear AAA games.

As CR says in every update all things are subject to change.

One ship will probably be more open than the entirety of the Order lol
