Square Enix Confirms No FF15 News at E3

Roughly translated, he says the time is 'not yet right' to show off anything related to the game yet, although he did say that Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD will be at E3.

Lol, this game is a joke. For the two of you who still had faith in this company and this title, just give it up and hype something more tangible.

It wouldn't be Final Fantasy XV (Versus XIII) if this wasn't the case.

To me, this game is the biggest middle finger from Square-Enix. I both highly anticipate and deeply abhor this game and refuse to reward these terrible business practices by purchasing a new copy.

So why announce it last year at ALL, Square?

I can't even joke about this game anymore. Now I just feel sorry for them. Nomura, his team, all the poor fans that have waited for years and the fools that still have hope.

well, they went from PS3 to PS4/Xbone and that's the same as starting from scratch. Although they wouldn't need to go through pre-production again since by now I believe the story, gameplay, music, game engine, etc. has already been planned, right?

Wow, by the time this comes out people won't care anymore. It's already 8+ years in the works, halfway to beating Duke Nukem Forever. I have more hopes Last Guardian might actually see the light of day before this does.

Personally, I don't see how this ever got hyped in the first place, except when it was believed it'd be a PS3 exclusive, as cows really know how to hype an exclusive. It's not anymore, and it's not like they've ever shown anything substantial to warrant the least shred of hype. No matter how great it might be it's damn near guaranteed to be a commercial dud for making people wait so long. When people wait forever their expectations get higher and higher, to the point it's damn near impossible to meet those expectations.

Terrible. Lol, then what was the point of showing the game during the PS4 reveal? I have a suspicion that this game is honestly no where near complete ...regardless of what square says.

They should take their time. Maybe the success of Bravely Default convinced them to go back to their roots somewhat with this title and they are reworking the crappy combat mechanics.

I may not share your taste in games, but I know this news must sting bro... that is, if you're not used to it already.

That MMO is better and far more relevant than the single player series.... and its whats keeping the company afloat of shiny shallow sp experiences. so for a reality check there. but the SP games are grind > cutscene > grind > cutscene. with even less challenge.

I think it's time Sony buy the FF name, and deal with it.
