Those developers are just too stupid to undestand how to use the Wii Remote. And besides, Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 got the highest score on wii: 8.0 compared to the 7.5, 7.0 of the other versions:P!!!lancea34

I diagree, I think they are very smart, they know they can get away with porting a PS2 game to the Wii, slap a new year on it, and it will sell, its not goin g to stop

I'm sorry, I thought the topic title said "Sports Games On the Wii Much Worse Than Those on 360/PS3", not "Sports Games On the Wii Much Worse Than Those on 360/PS3 Except For Two of Them". My mistake, no wonder I said what I said. What I thought the thread was named had me believe that the topic creator meant ALL Wii sports games were worse than the ones on the 360/PS3. Don't know what I was thinking there.

Like what? You do realise there are only like 5 different sports games out there don't you? "Soccer", Football, Hockey, Baseball and Basketball. Wii has the best soccer game, and for 07 the best football, it hasn't even had a hockey game yet, basketball games are rubbish on all formats but I'll admit Wii doesn't have a good one, and Baseball is perfect for Wii, MLB Power Pros has about the same scores as MLB the show does on the main consoles, so that's pretty much equal...

i didnt realize scores that range from 7.0-8.0 are "average at best" -- you might want to READ the word under the NUMBERHaziqonfire

Video game criticism of today is scared to award low scores, so 7 is basically the average these days. It's what comes from a 1-10 scale. Anything below a 5 really isn't considered worth buying. There's a small range of roughly half the 1-10 scale that holds games worth buying, and 7 signifies the average since most game critics are afraid of taking a chainsaw in the face if they award low scores.

Sports fans without a Wii are like First Person Shooter fans without an Xbox360.

PES 08 had a 5 month delay on the wii so it shouldnt really count, konami rushed it and made an absolute mess of a game on the ps3/360, then tidied it up for the wii release - its hardly a level fieldvilla4europe

Yes, because they had no choice but to rush the game out. Konami couldn't possibly have delayed the 360 or PS3 versions, too, could they?
