And the GOTY Contender nominees are

This is surprisingly shocking, Spike of all people giving a Mario game a GOTY spot, this is especially shocking since Galaxy 2 wasnt nominated for 2010's GOTY.

Shocking nomination, but... it's going to lose. GTA V and Last of Us are on there.

I can't stand how they make reveiws and get everyone pumped for the game before its even released. Like a reveiw on Path of Exile was released last year here on Gamespot and the game was in open-beta not even released on steam. They kept the score (a 7 out of 10) and left it at that when the game wasn't completely dont or popular at the time.

Now Path Of Exile is fully released and was added too Steam a month ago, its now the 6th most popular game on steam and its free! All bugs been patched, items been added, characters added, new/different gameplay, yet they rate it out of 10 a year ago. Im sure it would get a 9 out of 10 if they rate it or make another review on it tomorrow.

why is bioshock in that list? that game sucked

They are not allowed to post reviews until later today. However I find Mario being GOTY not unexpected. I think your going to find Mario walking away with most the rewards yet again.

Nice to see TLOU recognized, being it's a top 5 game of all time.

Pretty bold that Mario would be a nominee and it's not even released yet.
