Looks like GeoW2 won't be making it's way to the PC, like the first one did. When CliffyB was asked about a possibility for a PC version of Gears of War 2, he said, "No!". You can read it here ---->

Talking to Total Video Games, Epic Games' Lead Game Designer Cliff Bleszinski talked at length about the development of Gears of War 2. After talking up the game's storyline, which he believes to be more detailed and emotional than its predecessor, he was asked whether he believed that Gears of War has surpassed Unreal Tournament as Epic's primary franchise.

"I think it's safe to say that, yes. I think Unreal Tournament has been our bread and butter for years, it's been very successful, but it's hard to argue with the success of Gears," commented Bleszinski. "Unreal Tournament 3, we very much care about it, it's a well reviewed game. At the same time, if you look at where Gears is right now on the 360, I think it's safe to say that it's our primary franchise."

Soon afterwards, Bleszinski was asked whether or not he saw the Xbox 360 as the main platform compared to the PC. 'The PC right now is a fair amount different to what it was back in the day, with all the badly integrated video chips Here's the problem right now; the person who is savvy enough to want to have a good PC to upgrade their video card, is a person who is savvy enough to know bit torrent to know all the elements so they can pirate software. When asked about any possibility of Gears of War 2 for PC, Bleszinski flat-out said, "No."

Yea because.. you know .. it's epic. What if mark rein wakes up one morning and says HEY PC VERSION OF GEOW 2 TODAY! What can cliffy do about that?

Guess we'll wait and see, but for right now, there is no PC version of Gears of War 2. Microsoft should just buy Epic Studios and have them make nothing but XBox 360 exclusives. blackace

And that'll guarantee PC ports, won't it. :D

Even if Epic doesn't do Gears 2 on PC, then MS will probably just assign one of their teams to port it. They DESPERATELY need games to jumpstart GFW LIVE. ;)

I found the first FEAR to be rather repetitive. "Paxton Fettle has left the building. Go the other one." "Uh-oh... lawlz, he just left this one. Sorry, please go again and then watch weird unexplained **** happen."

The Alma parts were disappointing as hell. I just thought that, overall, FEAR led to nothing, and there wasn't enough backstory on this girl. The AI was excellent, but it was just another corridder shooter with a cool slow-motion effect.

This is just my opinion, but like it was rather... unfillingly.

well maybe i liked it because i was playing after midnight in an all dark room and nearly pissed my pants at one point, but imo it was alot better than gears. fear combat(the multiplayer) also had alot going for it. the thing is that to me gears didn't make me want to play. it felt like a chore to me. thats all opinion though

smart move for cliffyb.......saying its a exclusive for the xbox 360 so PC gamers would have to fork over money to buy a 360 so it wont hurt his sales...because if he didnt say it was a excluisve then PC gamers would wait until the PC games release..........then cliffyb is gonna make a announcement a year or so later of the release of gears of war 2 port on the PC.....so they can even get more sales.
