Sony is primarily a creative studios company at this point. Without creative works, they're dead in the water. If they want to get back in the game, they need to focus on producing devices consumers/businesses actually want.

When you're stuck in tedium and the home electronics space is a no-go with Apple, time to cut the fat and focus on what's good.

The only competition going on with PC is between GPU manufacturers. PC, consoles, handhelds and smart phone are all different markets even if you can play games on all of them

Not the Playstation division. Sony TV and Phone department are killing them. They cannot compete with Samsung and Apple. They have to cut there losses there and move on.

there movie studio is floudering they don't have big franchise hits like other movie studios

I would say you are wrong. The PC is a competitor to consoles. More and more people are going over to PC as there every day gaming system. I have friends that I would never have guessed would have gotten into PC gaming but now they are starting too as it becomes more affordable and platforms like Steam releasing JRPG's. I mean Steam has all the old final fantasy games now. The PC market has grown tremendously the last 2 years which is impacting consoles overall. Lot of people are buying multiplats on the PC instead which directly impacts the console market.

They have more 8 games than both Nintendo Wii U and the Xbox one so yeah they are winning there to,alto i would not say by a great margin now this is by Metacritics not by my opinion.

Well Kirby just flopped so is not the PS4 alone getting flops,also is hard to get flops when you have no games for the next 8 months like the xbox one..

Especially their exclusive game scores... obliterated down to 5's and 6's...

Three year plan update: Reduce the overwhelming amount of flops.

It's eating up all the profits from everything else. As for gaming, revenues are high but the profit they squeeze out of it is a lot smaller. Their camera arm for instances brings in half the revenues but achieves a greater profits than gaming, yet their labelled "stable" while gaming is deemed their "growth driver".

Lots of sales, but as a whole the company is still in serious debt. It's like one step forward with the PS4 and then 3 steps back with HDTV, Phones, selling SOE and everything else that had caused Sony to lose billions.
