Really I wonder just how long Sony has been listening, hence the research and development of the PS3. Some things that comes packed into the console could have been from Sony listening while they were developing the console.

Examples the internal wifi, the wireless controller, and the backward support. And with each firmware update the system just keeps getting better.

You're linking to a blog as some kind of proof that Sony is listening to gamers? What happened to the millions of people who would buy a PS3 with no games quote? Sounds like a gamer-oriented company to me.
