I wouldn't get too excited, what is that like 60$/365 is around 16 cents value?

Dont get me wrong, it is a nice gesture, I mean I remember Netflix sending me credits for cents once because I couldn't play a TV show one night I think. If people act too thankful for this it might make this band aid solution a regular thing (I.e. Who cares when the network goes down, we will just give them back a day)

When I couldn't play online 2 days ago on XBL most of the afternoon, I was pissed, I couldn't care less if MS gives me 16 cents back, I want these things to stop happening....I know they never will, no online service is perfect.....but at least they should work on reducing their downtime. If you are going to give out free time like this, at least make it a week or something. Just my 2 cents, but honestly I hope MS doesn't start copying this....or if they do give more than a day.

Only thing Sony is extending is the middle finger. Surely there's a nice concrete arbitration clause, standard protocol for any big company, not to single out Sony. Anyhow, by accepting this your only limiting any legal recourse if say this interruption of service accompanied a breach of your CC info, you can't sue, just arbitrate, and in your arbitration the acceptance of this will likely be seen as a sign of your acceptance in a resolution toward the breech of your personal info.

Got mine and I was like WTF, seriously? One fucking day. I never turned my PS4 on during the outage so I wasn't affected, but one fucking day is a joke. It's not even worth my effort to type in the fucking code. Pricks should have at least given me a free month for all the shit games they keep offering for PS+. A one day extension for a service that compared to pre-PS4 days is just a complete rip off, how nice of them. 0_o
