I strangely believe that Sonys used game policy was just like MS policy before E3 but when they saw the reaction that MS got, they took advantage of the moment and changed their policy. That being said I have a PS4 preordered and a XI with my MS, Sony and all game studios are in this to make MONEY. Their is no good guy in this. Just play what you want.

What scandal? Your traffic on a service is often recorded and shared with partners on various products such as the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Windows 8, Twitter, Facebook, and even websites like this one.

Preach! Preach! Preach! Tell the whole world! Reveal the evil that is Sony! #SonyLies #BankrupcyAwaits ...

But in all seriousness, lets let it go. Both systems were gonna do DRM and both didn't no matter how that came about. Its time to move forward.

remember, Sony said publishers have the ability to limit used game sales but the console isn't going to do it by itself

it's probably not going to mean anything until a publisher might want to utilize whatever feature is there, then you can expect others to do it, just like new game DLC and such became standard

If Microsoft had the decency to at least announce their DRM intentions at the XBone unveiling or even at E3, it would be one thing. They didn't, though.

Now, all you XBox fangirls can cry about it is an assumption that Sony was going to do the same thing but pulled back at some point and then, most importantly, NEVER IMPLEMENTED IT.

Much like the fabled 4GB "original" PS4, has it ever occured to anyone else that Sony may have wagged the dog by telling developers they were going to implement a ton of DRM for the specific purpose of it leaking back to MS early on?

You're exactly right. Neither company implemented it as neither launched with it. Both systems hit shelves in the next 2 weeks with no DRM. Kudos no matter how that came about.

So, Cows are going to ignore this because it's Sony, right? If you were Sony, you fear the same backlash that MS did, so what else is there to do? Implement it into their TOU and have the two people who actually read it find out that their account can be terminated if they buy a used game. It's so cunning. Yet the public will turn a blind eye to this because "SONY IS LOOKING OUT FOR THE GAMER" when in reality, they are in business to make money and DRM is its secret weapon.
