As the system with the best overall game library this gen if you don't buy one you're only saying to the world that you hate gaming, and that you hate the world in general. Denying the DS's existance in your life is almost the same as denying life itself, only that denying the DS is worse. You might as well just go sit in the corner of your room, and cry all over yourself.

The DS is not your cup of tea? If that's the case then I have to automatically assume that you don't even drink tea.

It needs to be mentioned that the DS has had the best Q1 of this year. If you deny this fact then you are either a fanboy, don't even care about video games, or are a socialist that thinks all the game systems deserve a fair share. Games such as Henry Hatsworth, and GTA:CW are currently melting faces, so now is the time to give up console gaming all together. There's just absolutely no reason to own a 360, Wii, or PS3 when you have a DS. Also do note the release of Mario and Luigi 3 is on the horizon which will be the best RPG to date right behind Super Mario RPG.

I own both, and barely use them.

How about not owning a DS because Nintendo wants to go back to the stone age. Maybe next time they will release a system that looks slightly better than the super nintendo but it will have a glove control. That way they will attrack the under 7 group. No real gamer buys Nintendo products anymore.

I use to own the original Ds but it broke.

The DS is indescribably awesome, but still, not everyone is in to that sort of thing.

And that relates to my post how? How is it denying life itself? You could make the same arguement for anything out there. PS3 has a great library, 360 has a great library, the GBA has a great library, etc, etc. It just comes down to preference.

I just tend to buy more for my consoles, even though I've been missing some old GBC games as of late.

PSP has better graphics, music, internet, video, and has a good game library. But in reality I don't play handhelds. I use my psp as an ipod.

I just don't like handheld style games. On my GBA and GBC I have less than 20 games combined....I'll stick with console games and pc games.

I thought every person on the planet had one by now, even babies.

Console > DS

PC > DS

I own a DS but that doesn't mean it can supply my gaming needs alone.

To me, choosing consoles or gaming rigs over handhelds is like preferring big guns over kitchen knives.

I'm not into portable gaming. Is that a problem? :|

Platinum and Chinatown Wars are amazing

for me, portable gaming died with Pokemon Gold and my Gameboy Colour. nothing will even equal that

ipods aren't really better music players than PSP's. PSP's are just too big to be practical as a music player you carry around like an ipod.

Agreed 100%.

Plus I use mine as a photo viewer (great screen and analogue zoom) and web browser (although my cell phone is better at this, minus the screen size).

I have one game, and will not likely buy another one.

I dont, not because i find the DS to be a bad handheld, but simply cause i prefare my PSP & its games...
