This would have been so much better than what it eventually became.

Anything with purple gorillas = goat
Yep. Totally would have bought that day one, but instead they made it a generic open world action game.
Chaz. Infamous was never crap.
You're right, we shouldn't use the past tense when referring to inFamous's crappiness.
Is there a time where charizard wasn't making crappy threads?
All the time, bro. Don't hate me for bringing the truth out about one of Sony's premier (and yet shitty) franchises.
I dun even get the joke
There is no joke, only truth. The truth being that inFamous is shit.

You should really try playing more than just the first game Char ;)
Why?
Would you sit through a 500 page book where the first 200 pages made you want to gouge your eyeballs out with the back end of a rusty spoon?

In all honestly. I was NOT a fan of the first game at all. Tried to be too dark when it shouldn't have been and tried to go too many places with all the factions. But with the 2nd and now the "3rd" one, I think they have improved. This isn't Killzone where Sony dumps tons of money into it and it's still a piece of crap. It's a pretty piece of crap, but still a piece of crap.

Bit of a rubbish analogy.
especially when the inFamous games are separate games produced with years in between releases allowing for improvements to everything from both feedback and technology, unlike one continuous book that offers no such benefit between chapters.

In all seriousness, I have been told a lot of times that the second and third games are much better haha. I do plan on giving them a fair shot eventually, but the first game made such a sour impression that I'm in no hurry presently.

Would you read the second and third books in a three book series where the first book made you want to gouge your eyeballs out with the back end of a rusty spoon?
All 3 games have scored at least an 80 on MC. Your opinion sucks and you make bad threads.
Lol. Tell me how you really feel. Let it all out.
Obvious troll is obvious.
Trolling? Please, no. I'm just laying out the facts of inFamous's mediocrity.

You sound jelly of Sony's world class, award winning exclusives.

The fact that Sony is getting world class award winning exclusives like Killzone Shadow Fall and Knack constantly keeps me up at night.

So has Resistance, and its still shit.
"Animal Crossing-style game," "fighting," Que?
anyways, InFamous is a bit overrated imo, but nowhere near being considered a bad game.

Pretty much this.
The only reason it is overrated is because it came at a time of a new gen. There are no games worth note on any console so games like Killzone, Ryse & inFamous are somewhat good so they get blown way up and hyped. (Note: NOT saying those 3 games are equal, they are far from it. )

I've played inFamous SS and it was a good game. They played it a little to safe for my liking though. I wanted something new, but got something that was just prettier.

Can't say I disagree
@lundy86_4: Whereas she clearly wants you 100% of the time right? Dream on.
Way to infer far too much. I'm hardly in her league.
Plus it's pointless arguing, she's mine anyway.
