Man YouTube gamers are the end all be all of arguements, well played. How many of those games are worth playing if you do not like Japanese RPGs and have a console.

Yeah, and how many of those were Japanese imports of games that don't release outside Japan? Looked like easily more than half. And there's probably a lot more that just aren't worth playing, this guy obviously buys anything and everything.

For me it isn't that it has no games. It is that it doesn't have enough that interest me. As a PS3 owner, I have no interest in playing games on the Vita that have better versions on the PS3. That leaves very few games left that I am interested in. The system can have 800 games, but that means shit to me if only two interest me.

I have thirty retail games and even more if I count the digital ones. 3ds is about the same except I don't buy digital games on there. Only ones I have is ninja gaiden (nes), pushmo, and ace attorney. I guess I could count the ambassador games.

Vita has lots of games if:

- You know Japanese, and care to import

- You don't have one of a variety of other platforms that the Vita gets hand-me-down games from

Otherwise, spending $200+ to get access to an average one high-rated exclusive every 6 months just sounds like the worst idea ever.

While the video is not really a big help since most of the games are Japanese and will probably not get localized like Sword Art Online and few others i got to say anyone who says Vita has no games is an idiot because Vita couldnt get any better and at this point i cant seem to be able to keep up with all the great games coming for it.. for two months i been playing nothing but on Vita.

This month its getting Toukiden and DanganRonpa not to mention YS which i havent even bought yet.. its hard to keep up anymore.

PSvita should come bundled with Google Translator then. to fkn translate the random Japanese symbols.

yes vita does have a good size library but how many of those games are actually good and fun?

Sadly there's only 3 games I would get for the Vita (Persona 4 Golden,Killzone Mercenary and Muramasa Rebirth), that's still no reason to dish out $200 for it.

Vita has no games is soooooo 2012. Stop fooling yourself and others, Vita has plenty of games today.

There are a lot of Vita games. But the quality of the titles doesn't match the 3DS. P4G is really the only amazing title. OlliOlli is pretty darn good too. The rest are ports like Divekick, Hotline Miami, Spelunky. Those are great games to have on the go but probably better experiences elsewhere. Killzone Mercenaries, Uncharted Golden Abyss and Tearaway are ok but not system sellers imo.

On Vita? Going through a stack of PS+ games. Finished VLR & Rayman: Origins recently. NG Sigma Plus right now. Great fun when the horrid camera allows it. Also FFIX which I haven't touched in a while. Tried New Little King's story and couldn't get into it.

I defnitely do want Zelda: ALBW and possibly Bravely Default. It's a question of getting the free time to give them the attention they deserve.

Yeah, I wisely bought 999 before trying VLR. Seriously gripping stuff, I couldn't leave the game after getting a bad ending. I went through 5 playthroughs without touching anything else.

I agree with the consensus- 999 wins in story/character/atmosphere. VLR did play better with the flowchart feature, Vita hardware and puzzles. I don't think VLRs True Ending revelations quite matched the impact of those in 999. Seeingold Junpei and Akane reunite was cool though. So yeah, the whole overarching ZE story is so damn well written. It wasn't the kind of game I thought I would care for but I was wrong.

People that say a system has no games are pretty dumb in general. Vita has tons of good games however, people put a ton of dumb rules to dismiss them. Same happens with the Wii U even though it only has a few.

@Floppy_Jim: What's so great about 999 and VLR? I always see ppl talking about it. Someone needs convince me into buying these games lol.

They're over-rated mediocre games at best. Not much more than simple novel games with puzzles.

Well I haven't played VLR yet, so I can't discuss it with you in any detail, but I did want to know what you thought of it overall :p

I view the Vita as like a Wii U PS4 game pad but better. If you gave me one I wouldn't sell it Like I would an Xbone, but I'm not going to drop money on it either.

I have both handhelds. The Vita gets more playing time. I play my 3DS when a good game comes around. I play my Vita for all kinds of games for all kinds of occasions.

The Vita has a few games I want to play on it (Muramasa, Ys 4, Soul Sacrifice, Gravity Rush, and Tearway on a significant discount), but by and large it is full of indie games I can play on my PC. As someone who plays their handhelds sitting right next to the computer, this system feels rather redundant compared to the 3DS which has plenty of original stuff. The PSP backlog is amazing though, shame i have all the games I want from that.

Also it needs more good turn based JRPGs. The only one considered any good beyond the small niche games (i.e the Atelier games) is Persona 4, and I think Persona 3 is one of the worst JRPGs ever made that isn't exactly high praise.
