So Switch FTW

Tell me again why I dont just devote all of my gaming to the Switch now and in the future. Great exclusives. Diablo 3 coming and I dont care that its old. Great handheld type game. Monster Hunter World coming. Mario Tennis, Metroid in the works plus talk that Madden 19 and CoD 2018 will be on the Switch! Looks like Nintendo has finally gotten their crap straight!

But its not 4k HDR SP Movie games! /s

Because of all the games you would miss out on.

Mainly because you would miss out on a good amount of 3rd party games.

MHW isn't confirmed btw and Metroid ain't coming out anytime soon.

It sure is an awesome console. Pair it with a PC for those graphics heavy FPSs and other genres best on PC, and you've got the best of everything.

Not sure why anyone would buy a multiplat on the Switch. I applaud them for finally getting some third party support, but it just doesn't make sense to play multiplats on anything other than a PC. If you can't afford a gaming PC, the experience on PS4/X1 is also vastly superior to the Switch.

One word: portability.
It's more of a purchasing factor than you think.

Playing Doom during my 2 hour commute is awesome.
I can even play online on the train wifi network or use my phone as a hotspot.
Works good most of the time.

The Switch offers what Nintendo consoles have been offering me for a long time now. Nintendo exclusives. It's why I buy it.

Understandably. I think portability is the only justifiable reason one should buy a multiplat on Switch, unless they don't own any other system to play on of course.

I honestly, hate being tied to my tv to play any game right now.

As someone who has had a PS4 since Bloodborne was released...my playtime for the Switch in the last 12 months probably isn't too far off my total PS4 playtime over the past 3 years.

The Switch is fantastic. You should check it out sometime - it might surprise you.

You would be much happier with a PS3 or PS4 because then you could play all those 3rd party switch games you listed.

I'd be happy with Madden Switch.
