in my livingroom so my girlfriend could play games out there, but what do you know... Sony is yet again having network problems and I'm not going to even bother trying again later... When are these guys going to get their shit together? How many outages and hacks is it going to take? What in the hell are we paying them $50 a year for.... To not fix their network? To not add extra layers of security? Because that's sure what it feels like...
Are you paying Sony $50? I was under the impression you don't have PS+, maybe that was someone else. PSNow of course, doesn't require PS+ though.
Should SW start taking pictures every time their console online goes down? My Xbone was offline three days ago, that was strange. I checked the Xbox 360 and there was spotty issues. Luckily, I wasn't needing to play online. I didn't bust out my camera.
As far as PSNow, I am not a renter. I beta tested it and it was nice that a bunch of games were free for beta, but do what you gotta do.
I'll check Sony's PSN status...
Everything is good with PSN as evidenced with their site and with the users above. What a strange thread, but considering your anti PS4 stance in every thread, maybe it's not so strange after all.

EDIT: Honestly, I don't know what I'm supposed to discuss. Your situation? You already said you aren't going to try again and honestly, after your rage against PSNow in the past (that was you if I recall), I'm not really sure you ever were going to use PSNow. Are you trying to rally the forum? Are you trying to sell Xbones with anecdotal evidence? I don't get your objective. I see below you answered, you are trying to hurt PS4 sales....

Why don't you complain to them directly instead of doing it here?
They probably don't give a shit, people here on the other hand do, especially prospective system purchasers..
You aren't really going to change anyone's mind in SW. Newcomers aren't swarming around here. So you are playing to the lurkers in hopes of manipulating them with your strange photo that defies the users experience here and PSN's online official status. Why do you care so much to change prospective seller's minds? I don't understand. Should we all create threads in an effort to manipulate people's purchases?
This sort of thing happens from time to time across all the machines. It would help if the entire forum could relate to your PSN issues and right now PSN is online for other users in this thread and myself. PSN is online for me right now as I am trying to get a Batman Origins MP trophy (I'll probably get it today too). That's a PS3 game, but I want to knock out the online trophy before the community evaporates. I turned on the PS4 just for this thread, and all is good.
BTW: Like the others in this thread, PSN works for me. Not sure what your situation is. I think that picture is old.

Yes I do have PS+, this isn't Xbox Live though, they probably have a 99.X% up time so minute things with them is understandable, PSN on the other hand is probably in the lower 90% range, that's not understandable, especially with their network track record.
You should thank Sony for stopping you from using PlayStation Now
Have they even moved over to the subscription based model yet or is it still rentals? I thought they went to a monthly subscription which is why I was looking into it and then this happened.

Looks like they've got subscription now, $20/month (set of games here https://www.playstation.com/en-us/explore/psnow/subscriptions/).

Most seasoned SW don't give a shit and you barely see any new comers around looking for advice
I can concur with this, most people don't give a shit about NyaDC here.
The same could be said of literally anybody, I feel no differently about you, have a nice day.

I'm not sure. You could maybe call them if that picture is recent.
I'm literally playing Batman Origins on PSN right now in between matches.
I took it right before creating the thread, and checked again just before my last post, so whatever is going on this aspect of the network is not functioning.
