9 while a good game isn't as good as 8 or 7. I don't get why this is so high on the list with certain fans.

People resonate and remember games where they develop a sense of camaraderie with the characters . The player is person so a game that relates to them '[digital] person to person' resonates extremely deeply.

Persona 4 and Skies of Arcadia are other games that I think on fondly for the same reason.

You haven't truly played Final Fantasy until you have defeated Ozma. Good luck.

and to everyone bringing up VIII and the junction system, I sincerely wish a running kick in the balls to every one of you. Drawing magic was the worst concept in a game ever.

I was shocked It even happened. I can't wait to see how the rebirth ring benefits me but tbh I might reboot the game and start over because I just found out there is a TON of things you can do as side quests before going back to alexandria... Meh.. Maybe not since you can do almost everything on disc 4 lol

Never did get that damned Tournesol or whatever it's called, Masamune was just fine though.
