I've owned every nintendo system sicne the nes. I never played a smash bros game. It just never looked interesting to me.

My GOTY has finally arrived! :D Bayonetta 2 will be a proud second place.

That announcer was awesome. To be honest, I think the Mewtwo DLC idea is actually a good idea. It will entice those, (most likely) large amount of fans of Mewtwo to not stay secluded to their 3DS version and actually get a Wii U or get the Wii U version as well, could potentially help the system out. The whole Spring 2015 is a shame, but I can see why they made the decision. While most of the other ideas were also in Brawl I still can't wait! It's disappointing that voice-chat will work as it did in Mario Kart 8, but let's be real who wants to hear people rage over their mics in Smash or MK8 (totally not damage controlling that or anything)? Cannot wait for the game, it'll probably get a 9, but it'd be amazing if it got a 10.

this is certainly shaping up to be better than I imagined, I'm definitely looking forward to some 8 player battles on those ginormous stages

I think the thing that really excites me about this game is that it's pretty much the only game I can remember in recent memory that feels like it will be a complete game at launch. If anyone else created this game, most of these features would be DLC.

@Peanutbutterz: Not to be a downer, but it sounds like you wont be getting everything here at the beginning either. For many features they said it would come later down the line. Luckily it will probably all be free but just a heads up.

Yeah it was the fact number 2 (resolution) in the 50-fact ND. They even made a 3DS/WiiU comparaison. It was hard to miss. lol

the fact that the thing is packed with demos of all the old games alone amazes me. What a excellent feature.

This is the first Smash game since SSB64 that I'm actually mildly excited for. They seem to be focusing on sheer content this time to please everyone, rather than one particular fan group.

Indeed this game will make the year 2014 the year of the Wii U. With this Bayoneta and Mk8 nothing can stop the wii U

I was in a similar(but not as extreme) circumstance back during the GCN days. I'm a big Nintendo fan, and I hadn't played Smash on the N64, and everyone kept raving on about it. I played Melee with a few friends and created unforgettable memories.

Wii U is home to some of the best iterations of Nintendo's classic series.
