Not yet, but if TLOU R i sucessfull, i bet that atleast Sony will want it. If A Thief's End is the last game, bringing a collection to help players catch up in the series is a perfect move. Same thing happened with God of War and is now happening with Halo.

Honestly, i would love the idea considering it would a 3 for 1 game pack. Great value IMO. But, considering they already ported TLOU, i'd be abit annoyed by the idea at this point.

Personally i'd rather companies were doing this than shitty DLC or season passes or locking out the online on used games etc. Contract a company to port the PC version over, maybe add a few features, new people get to experience it and it tops up the bank to help with the rising costs of development of next gen games. Especially with Squeenix, who wouldn't surprise me if they go under atm.

@R4gn4r0k: Not meant to give mixed signals. It's a broad statement. It's to mean, do whatever the hell you want. Buy what you like, but if you don't think this is a good practice then don't buy them. I for one find that some of the games are great to offer but not at full retail prices.

Ahem, plus there's plenty of HD mods for both ME2 and ME3 aswell. And i'm talking 4096 textures that you likely wouldn't get in an official remaster.

This is what happens when you ditch backwards compatibility. Companies start to simply repackage things from last year and charge full price for them.

Not surprising at all. Just about every game which utilized significantly higher quality assets for its PC version will eventually be ported over to the next gen consoles. There's no reason not to.

$60 for a two year old game.

I paid $1 for the PC version on Amazon a while back; the actual definitive version of the game.

just to pile on SD is a great game. The most fun i had in an open world game since Just cause 2. Interesting story, great melee combat, excellent video and audio presentation, lots of interesting side missions ( and not just the same 3 side missions been repeated over and over like other games ) and even the driving model is freaking great. Also one of the rare times i actually finished the main story of an open world game

Let alone is a great pc port with every option you come to expect from a proper pc game and excellent performance

I'd consider buying it if it's the right price and also depending what else is out at the time... I did really enjoy it.

I see no reason for ports from last gen. Minor graphical upgrade and if you missed out on games last gen, I think there's enough on last gen consoles to warrant picking them up.

I feel like a fool, got a next gen console and all I see are multiplats, indie games and ports of last gen games. And none of these show significant advancements that make it worth while.

This games should be $40 to be honest. Its a great game though.

im abit of a hypocrite since im planning on getting an xbox one for the halo collection,but right now i see nothing that is really showing me what these consoles can do in terms of game play

Forza 5 shows vastly better gameplay physics and physics effects over Forza 4, even if the graphics aren't particularly next gen. I'm having a lot of fun trying to beat my Nuremberg + GP lap time right now. Off topic but what I love about that track is that it's a little more about how much balls you have with the narrow roads, tons of corners and 16M track to get through, so a few mistakes can end it. Also the drivatar ai is a lot of fun.

But the Halo Collection is a touch different imo, because it has Halo 2 which is an older game so it's worth while. Plus Halo 2 and 3 are the most fun imo.

KI is good but you need an arcade stick, I'm not an arcade stick player, so until a Street Fighter pad comes to the X1, the game is about as useful as a chocolate teapot to me.

I would recommend you wait until at least the end of the year before you buy into next gen, I wish I had. Fanboys will tell you otherwise, but the PS4 and X1 really are running on hype right now. It was a good first year on the 360. You had some 1st party, 3rd party console games and also a lot of welcome PC ports. This gen it's just a Sahara games drought.

Devs make remasters because they cost vastly less compared to building games from ground up, yet they sell just as well. What incentive is there to NOT make definitive editions when consolites buy them like hotcakes?

Somehow, upgrading hardware to make ALL your games look prettier doesn't sound nearly as bad as upgrading ALL your games to definitive editions by buying the game twice.

Meh, already have the disc version and the free Games with Gold digital version but I don't have any of the DLCs. Really good game but I'll pass on this one. Good for those who missed out, I think it's better than Watch_Dogs lol. I hope they do Saints Row 4 next for $40 buck tops for the current consoles though. At this point there's no stopping this. If it gives devs income to make new games and give gamers more selection, I guess it's not all that bad.

I'm fine with these, as I missed this game in particular, price is a bit high though.

The publishers were not ready for Gen 8. The industry was convinced that they would flop and everyone would be playing on mobile and tablets. This is not the end of the last-gen ports. You won't see a lot of the actual new gen 8 games til E3 next year.

Doesn't sound like it's worth it. I grabbed it for a massive $5 on the better system and I still can't be bothered to play it.

Not that this is a bad game but, I dunno...this one just seems unecessary.

While I think this is just a money grab like the Tomb Raider definitive edition thing....I'm sure there are ppl out there that will buy it and get use out of it.

Already played so not for me. Anyone who skipped it the first time around might want to take a second look. I thought the game was a lot of fun.
