Should you stop doing things you like?

I smoke but my girlfriend looks affected by that, she gets sad and starts saying that I'll die and all that. Plus, she hates the smell and that we have to spend some cash on tobacco. 

Should I stop doing something I like (smoking) just to make my girlfriend happy?

This goes for other stuff aswell:

• Drinking
• Using drugs
• Gaming
• Any addiction actually

Depends, is she willing to give stuff up for you ? Also don't quit because you'll die, you're going to de anyway. The other 2 are valid concerns.

Yes, she gave up on the use of marijuana for me. It was one of the main things that we discussed when we started dating one year ago.
