Should ESO have used it's own art design?

My friends. Beloved. Are you disappointing the art style, all the way down to the UI in Elder Scrolls: Online is basically "Skyrim"?

Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim all have different art-styles. This seems like a cynical cash in of "hey it's Skyrim online". As opposed to elder scrolls online.

Personally I think it would have been more interesting if it just done it's own thing.

Discuss.

Well, Skyrim sucked, so can't say I care about this game.

I'm indifferent to what they do.

it should of been anime art style.

er...I don't understand. I'm pretty sure all of the Elderscrolls games used the same art design. Just each game used a different engine of sorts.

Possibly yeah,

Oblivion had easily the best art style of all the ES games.

Am I disappointing the artstyle? I hope not... Artstyle is my master... I cannot displease him.

What artstyle? It's always been generic, "realistic" high fantasy

ESO's problem isn't really it's art, it reminds me of Myst. The game play just isn't that much fun. I'll try to give it more chances though.
