Evil Within was garbage, Evil Within 2 which he effectively had 0 involvement with was better.

Death Stranding is getting by on reputation and "this is weird", which people mistake for "high art".

Death Standing.

Both games to have mysterious themes but there is literally no gameplay for Ghostwire, how can anyone be hyped for it?

yeah first evil within was complete trash and second one is slightly better but still mediocre.

on contrast, death stranding looks to be most interesting sony game currently. far more interesting than last of us 2 which looks like movie game.

Obviously we saw way more of Death Stranding and recent gameplay now. Ghostwire not so much and that teaser trailer doesn't help it's case here. So why even comparing the two? And I don't need to know more of Death Stranding, you are supposed to play the game to find that out yourself.

As cool as I think Ghostwire Tokyo’s debut was, Death Stranding looks to be on an altogether different level.

Ghostwire looks pretty cool and I really enjoyed The Evil Within so I’m definitely looking forward to it but Death Stranding gets my vote. I’ve always loved Hideo Kojima’s storytelling and games in general and this new game looks to be another fantastic addition to his portfolio of excellent games.

Ghostwire looks much more appealing to me, even though we didn't see a lot.

I've never clicked with Kojima games.

Both games look like absolute shit from what I have seen... which isn't a whole lot. I keep waiting to see more from Death Stranding, but the more I see, the more I think Kojima has advanced dementia and should have retired a few years ago... I hope I'm wrong though. I seriously don't get why people are hyping that game up with anything we have seen to this point other than the fact that Kojima is making the game... which in my opinion doesn't mean a whole lot anyway. On that note, I'll say I'm more interested in Ghostwire at this time, but not by a large margin.

Haven't seen much of any of those, but my answer is definitely Ghostwire. Not a fan of pretentious movie games.

Shinji Mikami >>>>> Hideo Kojima

I think Death Stranding has done more, but its had how many years to entice people, and still barely has me interested.

I was never a Hideo fanboy, but I'm a Shinji Mikami fanboy, he['s made my favorite games all-time, and I want the follow up to Evil Within 2 (a game I platinum'd), over the follow up to HZD/MGSV.

Is Ghostwire directed by Shinji Mikami? I thought he retired to a producer position. (Which is why The Evil Within 2 sucked.)

Mikami isn't directing/making Ghost Wire. As for the genral rule of thump:

Shinji Mikami is a great game designer while Hideo Kojima is an overrated, pretentious hack.

My vote goes to Ghostwire for the Tokyo setting alone. Death Stranding's marketing is based too much on weirdness and abstractness.

I won't be buying either but I'll back Mikami over Kojima any day. I loved the first two Dino Crisis and most Resident Evil games. Also, Mikami comes off as less of a douche bag.

GT because the first trailer is far superior compare to the 1st trailer of DS.

At very least from that trailer I have some idea of the whole game.(a game where you fight ghosts by a bow in a deserted city)

Also Mikami's TEW is far more fun and better than MGS V.(The most overrated game of all time that people loved to blame Konami for it's issues.)

Death stranding for sure. The whole thing has been nothing but a mystery. Also, I want to see if Kojima has what it takes to pull this nonsense off.

Still waiting for that awesome DS gameplay which supposedly all you cows have seen.
