Sea of Thieves Technical Alpha new Footage,

I heard there is Alpha for it happening right now, invites only. I wasn't really that interested in what i saw before of this game. This new footage looks great i am interested now. If this is xbox one footage what will the Scorpio version look like?

The game is shaping up nicely. Happy they are doing this kind of development where they are bringing in alpha testers earlier on. It's more iterative and almost always results in a much better final experience.

It seems like the ultimate co-op game for some friends. Get 3-4 people together and go out and raise some hell on the seas. Going to be a lot of fun.

I think that is Xbox One gameplay. They still haven't send invites to PC gamers yet, so I doubt it would be PC footage

I got into the Alpha a few weeks ago, and I can tell you, that this is the X1 version, and the game is REALLY, REALLY fun. Only bad thing at the moment is that I'm playing with random people instead of my friends. This is a game where you get your friends list together and you hit the seas as a group to take on other groups you see out and about. The way you can let another group find a treasure, then ram sack them when they are trying to leave with it is a lot more fun then it sounds. It really takes a group effort to successfully pull most things off. Communication is key in this game which I am super stoked about. Too many online games these days don't focus on implementing a need to communicate. I cannot wait for release so I can see you guys on the high seas. That's all I'm allowed to say. MS is being very strict with the NDA on this game and I don't want to do anything to get kicked out of the Alpha.

This does look a lot better than the initial footage, but I'm still skeptical that it'll get boring after just a few hours. I guess it depends on how in depth the create a character is and how far you can come as far as loot goes. Is it boring, pointless loot that isn't worth trying to plunder or is it stuff that'll keep you coming back for more?

cows gonna hate but as I've said before this was the second most popular game at last years E3 behind Zelda. Everyone I talked to that played it loved it.

It's the co-op mechanic that makes it fun. It's not just playing with other people and getting carried you actually have to work together.

Why people are doubting Rare when they are working on their dream project is beyond me...

Looks better than 99% of Cancelflopbone's flops but that's not saying much. Some of the problems I see with this is lack of campaign and that xbone is mostly exclusive to dudebros so it'll flop in sales.

Sea of thieves looks interesting but it doesn't get my hype. I wouldn't buy a Scorpio to play this game plus I think Rare could do better
