@underdog123x: I think he means more the classic franchises available on Wii U like Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, and Kart.

PC - well... a leader in gaming.
PS4 - powerful console, interesting exclusives
X1 - interesting exclusives, i like the controller more, and will get it for PC too
Wii U - quirky exclusives and classic franchises, no more WiiMote! Yayy!
@Shielder7:
Halo, Gears, all the Rare exclusives,TF, Project Sparks, Fable, Killer Instinct, Ryse, and many more.
Didn't take very long for this thread to be "My console is awesome, umm...the nice thing about the other console is....it's shiny fwafwafwafwa". Anyway:
Wii U: Excellent First Party games
Xbox One: Excellent multimedia capabilities and awesome online gaming. Games focused on fun with friends. (Titanfall, Halo, Forza). Great controller.
PS4: Best on console graphics and stellar first party titles. Great controller. More "valuable" online.
im going to go on about the other other systems :P :
tablets: the wrong games are being made for them but i think there is potential for some interesting games on these devices. it could also make a very interesting substitute for a second screen in many games (like the MS glass whatchyamacallit.). having a tablet attached to a monitor (ot 2 tablets) for something like elite dangerous or X could be very handy. i want to see a 15" tablet :D.
phones: handy for a quick 5 minutes to burn. grand for basic games. solitaire and angry birds (best games i can find for a phone) will kill a few mins.
nvidia shield: very nice idea. probably better as a streaming device at the moment. still hopefully they develop the idea further in the future.
ouya: its nice that anyone can develop for it. having demos for everything is also a nice policy. its very dinky.
PC: Has the most potential power, if you're willing to shell out some time and money, and the largest library
Xbox One: Um....er....it has the best online multiplayer-only FPS on consoles?
PS4: Best console hardware at a good price point
WiiU: Um...er....it has Mario and Zelda?
PC- has amazing DRM
PS3- an amazing system to get milk from
Wii- good cardio for the old folks and endless Mario games that are the opposite of fun for people who are drones
360- makes a good paper weight or a door stopper
3DS- makes for a good gift for teh kiddies
Vita- has the illusion of games, which is the greatest game of all
PS4: Amazingly powerful system, Ease and speed of use is unparalleled, The best first party studios of any system. Naughty Dog. PS+ is great.
Xbox One: fantastic UI, Has the power (money) of MS behind it so can pay top dollar for exclusives, Some amazing developers who always get the best out of their hardware. Games always look top notch.
Wii-U: Just plain fun to play. keeps you active. Shame it's tanking so much.
PC: Access to almost unlimited software, constant ability to change with the times, Some of the best graphics ever created.
3DS: not played at all but software library is very impressive.
Vita: Most powerful handheld. Games look great. Remote play on PS4 is amazing. If JRPGs are your thing then this is the best system.
PC - Best versions of multiplats, free online, superior hardware and unique games.
3DS - 1st party support AND 3rd party support are excellent, BC for all DS games, free online and 3D looks nice in some games.
PS Vita - Has some unique games, free online, best versions of handhelds multiplats, superior handheld hardware, gorgeous screen and second analog stick.
Wii U - 1st party support soon to be excellent, free online, BC for all Wii games, the GamePad can be neat for some games and the Pro Controller has excellent battery life.
PS4 - 1st party probably to be great, 3rd party support probably to be excellent, best versions of consoles multiplats and superior console hardware.
X1 - Probably to have few 1st party franchises I like and 3rd party support probably to be excellent.
The Wii U is great at playing Wii U games, the Xbox One is great at playing Xbox One games, and the PS4 is great at playing PS4 games.
Performance and resolution means nothing if you're not playing the games you want. It should be an added bonus that your console performs better than the competition, not the sole, determining factor.
Each console plays their first party games better than either of the other two can. That's what I have to say about each console.
@Shielder7:
You don't need to just my opinion. Second Son comes out soon though so that could change lol
There really is "no other system" for me. I generally own them all at some point. This gen I am still lacking a Wii-U and a Vita, and it's pretty doubtful that I will buy an Xbone, unless I can get one really cheap. So I will just give my overall impressions for this gens systems.
PS4 - Makes a fine looking eraser. Nice Cylon looking LED on the side. Tomorrow it will have InFamous. Will probably have the best overall library for a console this generation.
XBone - Really can't think of much positive to say. Dead Rising 3 maybe? MS seems to be continually trying to improve it.
Wii-U - Wii HD mated with an iPad. Mario 3D World almost made me buy one. Still over-priced. and it doesn't have many exclusive games I want. Some day it will have a new Zelda game.
3DS - Lots of games, although very few that I really want, but it still seems to be the best over all value in gaming if you ask me. My kids love it.
Vita - Ummmmm...lets see.......If Sony keeps loading me up with free PS+ games. I will eventually have to buy one.
PC - Timeless. The PC really has no generations.
