Sakurai Promises Super Smash Bros. 4 on Wii U and 3DS at E3

Infomation:
- announcements like Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS would usually be accompanied by a trailer, but the team wanted to keep gamers patient while waiting for E3
- this is why they put out just a limited announcement
- Sakurai says E3 will come with a much better announcement
- the plan is to show off both the Wii U and 3DS versions at E3

Also worth noting, Sakurai exchanged tweets with Pokemon director Junichi Masada. The pair discussed how they're looking forward to seeing/hearing more about each other's games (Smash Bros. and Pokemon X/Y) at E3.

I want to see the 3DS version, but now that I am getting a Wii U after all, that one is probably the version I will pick.charizard1605

The Game I believe is said to be just like Playstation All Stars.

So No matter which version you pick, you're going to be playing with the Same game and you'll still be able to play with WiiU players.

I'm not sure, I'm just spouting specualtion at this point.

They're probably going to keep Marth and replace Ike with Chrom since he's the main character of the newest Fire Emblem.

As exciting as that sounds for 3DS I'll undoubtedly get the Wii U version...unless enough friends get it on 3DS to warrant the extra purchase.

With Namco involved, I still wonder if they'll at least have ONE guest character from their end. Be it Pacman (Miyamoto loves that character, doesn't he?), Lloyd Irving, or someone from the Soul series (for payback of Link appearing in Soul Calibur II). I know Sakurai said he's taking a step back in how many characters there will be, but...nintendoboy16
