Ryse is coming to the PC!

We all finally get to see what Ryse looks like on a real powerful machine. I'm very interested in this.

I know the game isn't that great but it does look good despite the shortcomeing of the Xbox One hardware. I think my GTX 780 should do fine at 1440p with this one.

Already looking better. Cleaner image thanks to the 1080p resolution. Assets are probably going to be left alone. LoDing should be improved as well as lighting, shadows, and post processing. Image quality should generally improve thanks to more power on a PC.

Perhaps I'm mistaken but I thought this was confirmed some time ago, I dunno but seems like the right move since its served it's purpose as a exclusive launch title for X1 and putting it on PC should help Crytek / MS with more sales.

That MCC exclusivity is looking a bit fragile now.

Now we will be able to see what power this game really takes to run. I hope they optimize it well.

MS sales? Pretty sure MS Game Studio's don't exist anymore. Certainly not putting any games on PC.

Phil Spencer did say he was going to support the PC.

Since it is CryEngine, I hope Crytek can make not just a port but a proper scaled up version. Like 1:1 reflections on metal and really detailed geometry. Shouldn't be hard considering it is their engine.

Crytek is in financial trouble. Ryse was a huge money sink for them and they haven't gotten a return on that investment. It would be in Crytek's best interest to port the game to all platforms ASAP to try to maximize potential market.

@Wasdie: I really don't think this is going to help their bottom dollar. There's isn't as much money in gaming as there used to be. It's hitting both the developers and the individuals that cover gaming. Clearly.

Trust me.. PC enthusiasts will buy this JUST to benchmark. It will sell good.
