Rumour - Geno, Ken and Banjo being added to smash. (With fuzzy leaked pics)

Saw this earlier and thought its SWs material.

Geno from Super Mario RPG (assumed to be new)

The Chorus Kids from Rhythm Paradise (assumed to be new)

Banjo-Kazooie (assumed to be new)

Isaac from Golden Sun (assumed to be a reskin of a Fire Emblem character)

Mach Rider from the NES game of the same name (assumed to be a reskin of Captain Falcon)

Ken from Street Fighter (assumed to be a reskin of Ryu)

Shadow the Hedgehog (assumed to be, well… you can probably guess that one)

that banjo kazooie is the best for me.

it could be true becuase banjo threeie is rumoured for xbox.

maybe nintendo cut a deal to have the character and maybe threeie can use some kind of n64 easter eggs or something?

or maybe MS sees it as good advertising for threeie

That would be pretty awesome to see Banjo in the lineup for sure. Geno, Isaac, Ken would be cool as well.

I wish Kratos could somehow someway make his way into smash

Geno and Ken I believe, but Banjo? No...

You know... Sony had it's own Smash clone on the PS3 and had Kratos in it. So...

That is like saying that Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo should have a cross-platform fighter where all the major video game characters battle each other out. Will this ever happen, or will console tribalism prevents this?

Since Smash Bros. is so Japan-centric, I doubt that a Western-designed character will ever appear in a Smash game.

For a former N64 that is Banjo and former Rare character, if I wanted to see Rare character in SSB Ultimate, an unusual character like James Bond from the good old days Goldeneye as a cool guest character for old times sake :P

But Banjo/Kazooie in Ultimate is cool, with me.

@davillain-: case of opening a can of worms with Bond. If Bond was added then people would say "bu,but,butt Goku" etc etc.

Joanna Dark from PD would be better addition if a Rare character was going to be added.

Seriously if you're someone who enjoys Nintendo games, avoid the leaks and wildest speculation. The leaks are not going to be true or they are going to ruin the surprise. Either way... so many people are 'underwhelmed' by Nintendo Directs because they expected things to happen that were not at all confirmed or leaked... For some reason it feels like Nintendo gets that more than other companies. Where fans get these wild theories of what to expect.

I remember watching the Smash Bros Direct with someone and the moment they saw Luigi they were like jumping out of their seat yelling "A new Luigi's Mansion!"... No. It is not a new Luigi's Mansion my friend, because may I remind you we're watching a Smash Direct. Like what are you even thinking? It could be... It could be a unicorn but that's unlikely isn't it? I find it odd that for some people the idea that it could be something unlikely is the 'wow' moment. Way to set yourself up! "That was a great Direct but I'm sad there was no new Luigi's Mansion." Dude... that's on you.

Nintendo is very good at little surprises if you let them and I'm not going to let that be ruined.

Ken has had different moves from Ryu for a while now.

But still, Chun-Li would be better, if only for female representation.

If anything though, it still needed a sequel. Like how Street Fighter II was a sequel to a bad game.

I think its a fake leak...........Smash Bros is notorious for fake leaks.
