Rumor: Fire Emblem x Shin Megami Tensei cancelled

@LegatoSkyheart: The thing is, this, all of Atlus's new games, supposedly a new Paper Mario, Codename STEAM, and this being the only game that still doesn't have gameplay even with other stuff like Splatoon, Yoshi Yarn and Xenoblade being close to completion, you got to consider.

That's ok. Port Persona 5 over to Wii U and all is forgiven.

dont care much for this game but a couple wiiU owners were really looking forward to it.

@LegatoSkyheart: I'd be happy if the Paper Mario 5 rumor was true (it got a listing on Walmart), I would be said if this one was true (was removed from Amazon).

I think there are more weaboo RPGs than actual weaboos...and there are a whole lot of weaboos out there.

No they don't, I'm not even trying to defend those people either but shit, these two are not making sense. It's like any game that gets released from Japan is only meant for weeaboos which is absurd.

I'm hoping that Nintendo finds a way to turn this into a Persona 5 port. Then along with Paper Mario 5 and Xenoblade Chronicles X and you got a pretty good year for RPGs on Wii U.

@bunchanumbers: I still forget that P5 is going on the PS4, that's like the weirdest thing ATLUS has ever done, release a Persona game at the START of a gen.

But then again, sometimes I think rumors like this pop up in order to force a response from the companies involved who have otherwise been rather silent about work on the title.

Actually, the meanings of internet terms change all the time. It's not a far cry to take the previous definition and apply it to japanese culture in general. People still recognize the use of the term, by saying "weaboo RPG's" you know I mean JRPGS. I'm not saying I find it annoying, I just love using the word weaboo. It's catchy :P.

Sad if it ends up being true, but at the same time it was announced and no word since then so... not a major loss? Atlus has a bunch of other content in the works to keep me happy.

The source of this rumor is questionable, though I wouldn't really be surprised if it was canceled considering How Nintendo hasn't even talked about it in a long while.

Personally, as someone who has only played the fourth SMT game, I can't say I was ever that interested in the game anyway.

Back during OP Rainfall was going on the game "Monado" was on amazon and then was taken off for no reason.

People thought it would never come to the states until it was announced to be a GameStop exclusive.

not weird since the game's primarily a PS3 game. What's weird is the porting itself.

PS4 is selling hot right now, why wouldn't they port the game to the Ps4?

Hopefully not cancelled, but I would rather have a full fledged Fire Emblem and Atlus title than a crossover IMO.
