Rumor: Far Cry 4 set in Himalays and has rideable Elephants

I really enjoyed Far Cry 3 and I can't wait to see what they do with 4.

I remember when this started leaking out.

Someone said the himalayas would be stupid. But RIDEABLE ELEPHANTS **** YEAH.

I went in hoping for screenshots, don't know why. I'd love to see them, though.

I had a blast with Far Cry 3 so this will more then likely be a day 1 purchase for me.

Cannot say I am overly hyped about riding nellyphants though.

Seems like something that sounds fun in theory but in execution....I am not sure.

Just throwing this out there, hopefully in this one you are a animal whisperer of sorts and can ride on giant birds too instead of hang gliders. Epic. Just think commanding wolves and tigers to help you storm and take over big azz forts in the Himilayas. Awesome.

But i liked FC3, a very solid 8.5/10 game, so a FC game on Next Gen has my interest.

Hopefully they either make a good multiplayer or not include on at all.

I liked far cry 3. Beat it on my ps3 when it came out. Turned around and purchased it for my pc thinking it would be a massive improvment. It was on some levels but damn is that game ever disappointing on pc, especially when you realize it's the cryengine your looking at. Here's to hoping they do a better job this time with the pc version.

Far Cry 3 on PC was disappointing (especially the graphics downgrade) but still enjoyable. Will probably pick this one up though, sounds interesting.

Rideable elephants is the biggest gimmick ever. But the Himalayas as a setting? Colour me interested.

There are over three times as many Indian elephants than African elephants in the world. Elephants in modern day India/Nepal would make far more sense than in Africa.

Himalayas would be awesome! Big snowy areas in a game that plays like FC3 and I'd be all over that
