Moving onto the non-ridiculous part of my post, it's probably a new IP and probably not an open world Gee Tee Aay/Arr Dee Arr type game.

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said during an earnings call today that he's "very excited about what they [Rockstar] have in store for next-gen systems in this fiscal year,"

So it won't be a PC version of GTA V, that's for sure, as he specifically mentions it's for next gen systems (PS5, Xbox Two)

I hope it's a new Red Dead game.

Doubt it's a new IP with that short time(with GTA V)

Considering it takes Rockstar North between 3-5 years between full GTA games - this won't be GTA.

I'm thinking either a new IP or Red Dead.

PS2 didn't hold back San Andreas. GTA IV and GTA V ran great on 360 and PS3.

Rockstar North doesn't let hardware get in the way of the game they are making.

what do you mean short time? they undoubtedly were working on more than GTA for the last 3 years or so.

Probably not Rockstar north unless its a next gen version of GTAV. Still waiting on that GTAV story DLC too

As much of a disappointment RDR was, I would like another RDR just to see how improved and and what new things R* could do with the western genre on the new consoles (cuz you know it aint gonna be on PC).

There is alot more than can expand on with RDR, than with GTA in my eyes. What else are they gonna do with GTA other than the same old? Sure GTA5 was amazing, but the next one will just be the same but in a different place (since GTA is set in modern day) there isnt much else new they can do.

I'm not sick of sequels, but I too would prefer if they tried something new.

As much as I love GTA5 and would love a next gen upgrade, I suspect it would not hold my attention for long, considering that I already finished it last gen. Red Dead Redemption 2 would be sick for next gen. I would definitely support a new IP as well, but that would be more of a gamble.....Rockstar is one of my favorite developers, but they are not perfect....so my vote is RDR2....just thinking about it makes me happy......

Why the **** is Manhunt 3 not in the list of options?

No those games pushing the max potential of the platforms they are available on. No PC versions exist so that platform is irrelevant when discussing those games.

It's about the possibilities of a game had it been made available on PC. GTA V and RDR push the PS3 and 360 to their limits, but that limit is a lot lower compared to the potential on PC. It's nonsensical to dismiss discussion of how a product would be better on superior technology just because a developer has opted not to put it on superior technology.

Why waste time discussing something that hasn't or won't happen? Every single console exclusive would look better on PC, but that is a pointless discussion.

Because Rockstar has a precedent for porting a lot of their games to PC? If it was a game like The Last of Us, which is a known first-party exclusive that will never see the light of day on PC, I'd agree that it'd be pointless to talk about some mythical PC version. But Rockstar is a third-party multiplat developer that typically ports their big games to PC, which is why RDR stands out as a bizarre exception.

I dont think it would take that long to bring GTAV over to new systems?
