Minimum/recommended specs were also confirmed. Recommended specs seem really modest, I wasn't expecting that. Seems like this'll be as good a port as Max Payne 3 was, and I'm willing to wait for that.

As we head into 2015, we would like to share the first screens and system specs of Grand Theft Auto V for PC as well as a new release date of March 24, 2015.

Our apologies for the slight shift in the date but the game requires a few extra weeks of testing and polish to make it as good as can be. Moving a release date is never a decision we take lightly and is a choice we make only when we know it is in the best interests of the game and our fans. Thanks everyone for your understanding and we assure you these few extra weeks will be worth it when the game does arrive in March.

GTA Online for PC, which will support up to 30 players, will launch alongside GTAV for PC and will include GTA Online Heists. Online Heists for consoles will be launching in the coming weeks ahead of the PC launch.

GTAV for PC pushes Los Santos and Blaine County to even greater levels of detail, running at 1080p and 60fps with up to 4K resolution and support for up to triple monitor configurations, as well as NVidia 3D Vision for up to triple monitor setups.

GTAV for PC also includes the new Rockstar Editor, which gives players a full suite of editing tools to create and publish gameplay clips direct to both Social Club and YouTube.

They've already waited a couple months, what's a couple more? PC gamers tend to have the patience to wait for a finished product.

The game looks & plays great on X1 but mang, on PC with mods, the game is gonna look insane I bet and for herms it's likely worth the wait.

Seriously, it's like TW3. It'll have to come out sooner of later.

And people who rage over this need to get be beaten over the head with a copy of GTA 4 until they lackout.

Even today people only complain about how horrible it is.

I'd rather have GTA 5 on PC a year and half latter from the console version, but working and well optimized (those system req. look good) so that modding it is great and i can play years down the line just like Skyrim than have a broke, piece of shit version that won't even want to touch.

Not great, but we've waited this long. A couple more months wont make a huge difference. Probably wouldn't have had much time to play it until then anyways

After the misery that was the GTA IV port, Rockstar can take as much time as they need to polish the GTA V port.

Those specs seem very reasonable. Then again they do have 2 versions of the game running on hardware from 2005.

If anything, people should start pushing devs to delay their games. The reason why games like Unity have been so crappy is because they are pushed to launch way before they are finished. This trend needs to stop. Good games are being ruined by poor QA.

nvidia is prolly helping bankroll this PC Remaster to make you need some high-end card

Well, to be fair, the requirements indicate that they are trying to port the game onto weak PCs.

they already built the game for two pc architecture's ps4/xb1 the port woulda already been done at that point they use amd/ati graphics card the consoles are just low-end pc's same arch as PC this gen game is built already for pc they just making it fancier now

I didn't think I'd be waiting this long for the PC version. I'd of been best just borrowing a friends console and copy of the game.

Sure as hell not going to pay full price for a game which by the time it comes out on PC it will be around one and a half years old since it first came out.

Yeah. There's a lot of games coming out early this year though. I feel like they kinda missed the window for me. GTAV would have been a good game to hold me over for the next few months.

Blizzard my ass. Blizzard take their time with games and announce release date once the game is ready to ship. They are PC developers. They trust their PC fanbase. Rockstar is delaying PC version to get more money from console versions because they trust their console community more. End of story. Stop making Rockstar something they aren't.

think about it, PC verison comes out could hurt ps4 sales if people can't get the game on pc they have to buy a ps4 or xb1 or something

this coulda been a SONY move to move more systems by paying rockstar to delay it

cuz rockstar loses nothing by putting it out for PC early only sony/microsoft lose from that happening i think

in fact im positive sony is behind this, they paid destiny to put the free trial on ps4 before xb1 and now they are paying rockstar to get more console sales, remember sony had made a deal with destiny for promotion, and gta5 for promotion

notice how both those games are now screwing over the competition and working more with the ps4

That's possible but I think it is due to the fact that January is considered as worst month for video game sales or PS4/XB1 versions are still selling.

Is this a joke or are you unaware that Max Payne 3 also required 35GB of free space? And that was a very linear single-player game in 2012 with no radio tracks or video editor. 65GB shouldn't be a serious concern and definitely doesn't imply the quality of a port.

That was one guy on the comments section of their website. It wasn't very official. And the second sentence still implies there could be a delay.

Well that engine was just a continuation of the GTA IV engine which was first used in that table tennis game. Rockstar just has the one engine they keep modifying and upgrading.
