Richer colors on the xbox one

I am a 360/ps4 owner. I notice when watching comparison videos that the colors on the xbox one seem richer. It's like there is a weird grey filter on the ps4. I tried to counteract this with turning the ps4 rgb to full but it crushed the blacks way too much.

Any solutions for this?

Solution is get a pc so you can stop fighting over 2nd place gfx.

if you were to do a side by side comparison with both systems running irl you would find that the imagine on the PS4 does look better. Don't be fooled by comparison videos on youtube. You will never really get the complete image quality because of compression and all that jazz. Also 500 posts

The "richer controls" damage control is sad. Lemmings would be better attacking the PS4's lack of games.

yeah i always hate when things are so dark you can't see sh1t, of course lems will as always excuse the crushed blacks.

You known those extra $10 you pay every year? This is what they're for... richer colors.

I believe you can get rid of the crush blacks if you set your xbone to RGB limited, as well as your TV. At least thats how I have mine, and in the calibration tool there is no crush black. I dont know if it applies to games though. Both RGB limited and RGB full look the same on my tv when properly configured.

Just becuz you see it like that in a comparison video doesnt mean shit (unless they specify that it is indeed a problem).

I remember last gen the PS3 versions were always supposedly washed out in color, but when i would get the game they were dark that I had to always set the contrast and brightness up in my TV.

That was because the Xbox fans at sites like gametrailers and others would intentionally set the PS3 video settings incorrectly.
