who did it lose to? the mutliplayer in the souls games is fucking garbage. people actually care about the pokemon multiplayer? cod had a great game this year but the movement feels so much faster and better in titanfall plus there is more variety in how you play the game despite have way less weapon and customization options. **** halo

It will sell significantly less than the first game and (the ultimate death sentence) the gaming community will quickly drop the online scene for something else.

I don't care if any Titanfall games appear on PS4. I still won't buy it. Sorry, but online only games are a no go for me. I prefer epic single player games. Online is just a bonus.

I will never spend $60 on an online only game knowing someday the servers will be shutdown, let alone everyone just decides to stop playing it and moves on to other games....which happened to Titanfall. No one plays it anymore and it's not even a year old. Why bother?

I'm looking forward to Titanfall 2, the first laid a strong foundation (even if it wasn't as strong as what I thought it would be) that Respawn should be able to build upon.

Titanfall was one of the most over hyped games of this year.

It's not like the PS4 is gaining much but the Xbone is definitely losing something.

The first one was nothing but a half assed beta. I'll pass I have better games to spend $60 on.

I just hope there is an SP this time. Titanfall had an interesting setting I wanted to see explored in an SP story. I don't think anyone even got that MP campaign or what the point of it was...

They even got rid off that. Before, it was a list with all the missions. You could just resume your playthrough. Now, they chucked them all in a campaign playlist that cycles them.

So was DriveClub. Still Titanfall has easily outsold Driveclub by a large margin and outscored that game. Overhyped, but it sold and scored very well.

Sony is all about over hyping their stuff but Titanfall hype was a bit strange. They were trying way too hard to make it look like a game changer or console seller. Still, not a bad game though (not even close). Drive club was a flop on launch, though I heard it's becoming better now.

Is anyone surprised after Infamous gave the XBone version of Titanfall a roundhouse kick in NPD results? Playstation means money.

I only buy good games, not all games is worth $60 that is true, especially PC steam games. $60(59.99) is kinda standard price for new releases on console and i have no problem with that if the game is good.

Everyone was trying to tell lemmings for the longest time that Ttanfall wasn't exclusive. But they kept saying "console exclusive". And even that was inaccurate because it was on both 360 and the One. Now all of the sudden in this thread they're acting like they knew it wasn't an exclusive all along.

Anyway they'll finally be able to make a console version in 1080P at least.

Multi plat Bone games started out in 720P, but after unlocking the Secret Sauce the Bone is able to achieve 900P in games like Titanfall, COD AW etc.

Pffft, Respawn handled it way wrong. But that means they can learn from their mistake in the sequel, if they want.

The campaign of Titanfall was only just revealed at the last minute. If I remember correctly.

Destiny wins for most overhyped though. It is kind of weird that all the games that was hyped as the greatest thing ever; Destiny, Titanfall and Watch Dogs all failed really badly. The best new gen games are the ones few cared about before release Dragon Age, Shadow of Mordor, Sunset Overdrive and possibly Alien (flopped here but scored 80's on Metacritic).

Microsoft is making the same mistake they made with BioWare. Microsoft published Mass Effect, and then sat and watched as EA acquired BioWare. Imagine how much of a win it would have been for Microsoft if they had the Mass Effect and Dragon Age franchises as exclusives? The smart thing for Microsoft would be to acquire Respawn and have the Titanfall (and new IP) franchise on lockdown.

The Minecraft acquisition wasn't necessarily a win for Xbox, but it was certainly a win for Microsoft as a whole. However, I feel like they often miss the more obvious purchases.

I passed on TitanFail when it was like 80% off. Not sure anyone really cares about this game or it's sequel at this point.

Message Boards and Blogs have too much influence on how people look at games in my opinion. The game was good, but in my opinion it was released incomplete. Months after the game was released it seemed like they were finishing the game and adding things that they probably intended to have in the game from the start. I really hate that when you check out the blogs and message boards I see people being way to critical of games. You can read thread after thread and you'll never know what these so called gamers really like. What are you guys playing the games for? To be entertained and to have fun--or to search for things that you don't like about each game then bolt to the forums to complain/rant? You get a bunch of troll critic so called "gamers" to rant about a game, and a flock of gamers who can't think for themselves follow. The Titanfall game was good fun--probably go to the PS4 and all the gamers who were ranting/teasing and talking down on the game will be breaking their necks to play it. SMH....
