Looks a little clunky. And I hate it when a game has a little slowdown when you hit an enemy especially noticeable at 1:09 and 1:14. I hope that's not intentional. But I'm always up for smashing something to bloody pieces.

Redeemer actually has a good amount of polish and I wouldn't categorize it as shit or garbage. Gameplay wise... it is more along the lines of Hotline Miami/Gauntlet than God of War. I am not trying to hype the game as the next big thing, but this game instantly appealed to me when I first saw it this morning. It has potential to be a solid game and doesn't need to reinvent the wheel. The game's scope is limited, yes, but it already stands out compared to other games in the genre. Stands out in a good way at least.... unlike Hatred.
