The game looks better everytime i see it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkk3SiywLHI&feature=player_embedded I also want to punch the guy giving the interview. He's clueless and very annoying! He asks if the game is on console because hes playing it on a TV, despite the guy using a keyboard and mouse right infront of him...

Unreal Engine 3. 64-players online. Very nice, don't see that number too often.

Looks incredible. I love the artstyle and the gorgeous lighting. The visuals aspects like how the germans run with their weapon in 1 hand as opposed to the russians using 2 is awesome too. Gameplay looks top notch, and the sound effects are spot on too. Looking foward to it.

This is as close as you get to having a realistic war fps without going sim like the OP and Arma series.

Looked amazing, definitely one of my more anticipated FPS. I wish I could watch the whole video but I just couldn't take hearing that interviewer anymore. I got to 27:00 and just stopped watching because he was making me go crazy..

I have Red Orchestra on PC but never played it and I'm kind of scared to, probably so many "pros" playing it now.

looking good so far Vehicle combat as well 64player online ?

Color me impressed and with a correct price tag this is a buy for me

Also the attention to detail is amazing ( they even replicated how a german and how a russian soldier were trained to run with a gun )

Not like I need any more reason to buy this game, but just looks better and better. I like that your character changes as you play more... I'm expecting epic beards for hero level :D

I wasn't debating that, for some reason I thought it was on consoles too, I got it confused with Homefront.

Yeah someone will say it but eventhough it's WWII again this game is something different in the over saturated FPS market.

I think the problem these days is that there just aren't that many people playing anymore. The RO community was one of the few online communities that I would classify as "friendly", and if you could get past learning the mechanics of the game, most people were pretty patient with new players. Give it a try if you have time, and don't give up just because movement and shooting doesn't feel like you're playing a Counter-Strike/CoD clone.

Looks great. I couldn't really get into the first RO, it just never felt satisfying to me. This one looks much more fun and streamlined, but still retaining the realism.

Woah, there are a lot of cool ideas going into this. I didn't buy the original (only played the UT mod a looong time ago), but I'm definitely looking forward to this one.

Something fresh in the way of multiplayer shooters? And a WWII one at that? Shocking.

I can tell. I see you in every RO thread lol.

RO isn't actually hard to get into if you go into it with the right mindset. That mindset is, you're going to spend a lot of time on your hands and knees with a boltie... if you can see that speck in the distance, he can see you too. If you have a friend who plays the game, it's a lot more fun to share a foxhole and crawl around the battlefield with.

Oh no having different shooting mechanics is usually what keeps me playing games like this. Just never really gave it a shot, yet.

It has an offline/training mode, the bots are amazingly stupid but you can still get a feel of how the gameplay works.

Looking very nice. For anybody wondering, there's still plenty of people playing RO: OST and it isn't hard to get into, you just have to remember the importance of keeping your head down.

Looks amazing defiantly one of the better looking UE3 games. The gameplay looks fun and more streamlined from the first but still retaining the realism and they added in alot of cool new features like the cover system + blind fire and destructible environments. One of the games I'm really looking forward to.

game looks friggin awesome. just got the first game yesterday and i've got to say, its amazing and is as immersive as a game gets. i felt like i was in war, and its definitely not your generic fps, with everyone running around like crazy. YOu keep your head down, bullets whizzing over your head, your teammates in cover in foxholes doing suppressive fire, see your teammates getting shot, its just amazing. Everyone was actually on one side of the map, crawling towards the front in one line, in one trench, and isnt that chaotic cod crap where everyone's running wild everywhere. IT felt especially epic when our teammates (red army) in their white winter uniform charging across the map in a blizzard against encamped germans, and it felt like a real charge because of the high player coiunt (25v25), really epic. Cant wait for this one, but i doubt my pc can handle it since i have integrated intel graphics. we'll see though
