This "red line" thing has got to stop.

https://twitter.com/yosp/status/390075509180100609

I can't people can get away with spreading stuff like this. None of it is true at all. It's very immature to stoop down to that level because you don't like the "opposing side."

The red light is just a temperature warning. The PS3 did the exact same thing. The console is fine.

Yep, this is the first stage you're experiencing. It is called denial.

Lol, okay. You know who Shuhei Yoshida is, right?

Fanboys spreading bullshit regarding the opposition? Even that's not exclusive, TLHBO.

lol, so some random dumbass Xbox fanboy is more credible than Yoshida? Get the f*ck outta here.

Well duh.

We've got the facts on one side; the PS4 runs cooler than the PS3s and there is no red line of death as confirmed by FCC documents and Yoshida.

Vs

A few fanboys convinced none of this is true and that two incidents (one of which, the Knack freezing, was proven wrong in near under 10 posts) are evidence of hardware issues.

Believe who you wish...

Oh, it's real... It's damn real

.

This is still a thing?

#9 Posted by kingoflife9 (1987 posts) -

its not a line of death, its a line that indicates the console is overheating and then shuts down by itself. That picture was in a closed plastic box with no air, on all day, for a week.

Since when did Sony become trust worthy? You name it they lied about it. I'd wait to see when it launches to test it's durability.

Lems...

They don't understand that other electronics manufactures build in safeguards so consoles don't melt solder off boards.

They want so badly for others to have the issues they had with the 360.

They're just simply.... desperate.

Because a straight no is PR bullshit? If it was PR bullshit, then he'd be jumping around the question, not giving blunt answers. Even you know that.

Yea, lems have been pretty desperate lately. You'll have to go easy on them, they are trying to cling on to any negative PS4 news they get to offset the daily Xbone ones.

#18 Posted by NameIess_One (559 posts) -

Well, overheating doesn't necessarily have to mean fried hardware.

If PS4 games are often crashing while flashing that red line, it's called an overheating issue, and needs to be fixed..

Lol.. Xbox fanboys are really trying too hard

#22 Posted by magicalclick (22381 posts) -

They better change the color code to green instead, so, it will never be red line of death.

#23 Edited by Suppaman100 (3709 posts) -

Lol lemmings, the only thing that's real is RROD and Xbone being a failure.

Sure. A guy that works at Sony. If this was for xbox and a MS employee would have said the same thing you would most probably dismiss it as damage control.

It wouldnt be out of character for a MS employee though.

It wouldn't be out of character for a Sony employee either. How quickly the past 3 months made us forget of the past decade.

I would say it wouldn't be out of character for every emplyoee (president especially) company of which is about to release a new product and wants to keep bad publicity at the minimum.

@PinkiePirate: Had better be false now. If the console comes out and this red line thing happens, then we know he's a liar.
