Red Dead Redemption most likely getting a PC Port

So Rockstar is hiring to get Pc ports of their latest titles, and if I'm not mistaken that would only be Red Dead Redemption and I guess we could count GTA 5!

But we have barely any decent cowboy games. For old men 60+ nearly dead of old age cow-boys-and-indians was like the video game of der day.

Now kids are just lard asses who sit and play america-and-Muslims and xbox.

It's not happening. I don't know the specifics but if I remember correctly it had something to do with the fact that the first game was from Capcom (or whoever published the first one) had some legal falling outs over the IP. It's not that Rockstar won't put out a PC port it's because they can't.

Yeah I'd rather they focus on GTA V on PC than splitting into two teams and taking longer.

EVERYONE should want this game to be on PC at this point. Let it be seen in full 1080p+ glory. GTAIV proably has some of the best mods on PC, so imagine Red Dead with those possibilities. 

It could also be ported/remastered to "next gen" consoles, maybe even throw in some of the GTAV gameplay improvements to make it more worthwhile for a "console remake". That's less likely though (vs. simply making a new game for consoles), if they are doing a straight port a PC version is definitely what is needed.

I'm sure the next game Rockstar releases will be a new Red Dead game on next gen consoles (and hopefully PC)

I didn´t like RDR very much, so I won´t be getting a PC port even if it´s released. 

The protagonist is too dumb. And the story starts kinda very slow and it´s quite draggy. Missions are "make me a favor now so maybe I will make you a favor back in the future". Riding horses gets boring quite quickly. The landscape is too drab. Most of the characters in the game are kinda stupid, like redneck-kind stupid. And the protagonist himself is quite ugly and doesn´t look badass at all, you know, he doesn´t have that Clint Eastwood handsomeness I was hoping to see.

I'm so sorry hermits. If anything, juet get this game for mods and turning it into a technical benchmark. Otherwise, the gameplay is shitBlabadon

I am pretty sure they are looking forward to migrating GTA5 to PC, not RDR, or even both.

I'm pretty sure the job ad was for GTA 5. Why would they bother with RDR now? It was a fun game I suppose but Gta 5 is where it's at

Yup. If they every thought about bringing over RDR to PC, they would've done so by now. GTA V is close to going gold on consoles and so Rockstar will be looking at creating a PC version now.

Red Dead Redemption had good voice acting, nice graphics, fairly good story...yet was still painfully boring, imo.
