RBI Baseball 14 isn't exclusive to Xbone, it's also available on 360, Ps3, Ps4 and mobile. Lemmings may consider it an xbone exclusive since they've been hiding behind multiplatform for 2 gen straight.

and isn't MLB 14 also on Ps3?

The screenshot wasn't taken from those versions though. Just like that MLB picture wasn't taken from the PS Vita or PS3

Actually that's not entirely true, the reason why mlb 2k died, was due to it's sales

MLB 14 the show outsold it by 5x and it was a PS3 exclusive, that's how bad MLB2k sales were.

Umm nowhere does it say those RBI baseball shots are from Xbox One and the game is a mobile/XBL/PSN game it's not comparable to MLB The Show.

You do realize that the sales of The Show have been down the last 3 years? That's why EA has no interest in returning to the diamond.

First, multiplatform vs exclusive. Its easier make it on exclusive, more time to develope, more and better focus.

Second, who the **** cares about baseball games?

I do, for one. And MLB the Show remains the best baseball franchise out there. Although with the lack of competition now, I hope they do not fall into decline with minimal updates/upgrades.

I haven't played an RBI baseball game since NES. Weren't they made with those weird non licensed Nintendo cartridges? Anyways, I wasn't expecting any non exclusive baseball game this year since 2k made the announcement. So, I'm not surprised at the bad graphics.

What if the game releases looking like that or better? MLB The Show looked damn good last gen and this doesn't look impossible on PS4.

I will be picking up The show when it comes out. Dissapointed its later for PS4 as it always helps me get excited for the coming season. By the time the game comes out my Mets will be dead in the water already.

That being said, I can't expect much from RBI baseball this year. How long has it been in development? Wasn't it thrown together last minute when they cancelled MLB2K?

Well I was deployed so I needed something to play ha, I was blown away by how good the Vita version looked and played compared to the PS3 ... it chugs from time to time but overall pretty damn good version.

sports games I've never been THAT into, but I remember MLB was the one of the first things I got for the psp and I played the hell out of that. I think that was before they started calling the franchise "The Show" as well. The games look good and honestly baseball isn't too bad for me. Of course, it helps my home team doesn't flat out suck anymore. (Rays)

Has nobody ever played the RBI baseball franchise? It is fun... period... unrealistic and fun. Then there is The Show.. it is more realistic and fun. Both= fun. Both= different. I will undoubtedly be getting BOTH. Game on.

By the way I call dibs on the Cubs. Not that anybody else was going to call them anyways... but with their prospects they are looking good.

No. Never in a million years. As much as I love the MLB The Show franchise, no other baseball game even comes close to OOTP in terms of depth, immersion & customization.

Just read this thread... wow, are people really thinking that because of the graphics, the show will be the better game? That's laughable, especially when speaking about a sports game like baseball. MVP2005 is still a better baseball game than all of the show offering in the franchises history... In fact, the show basically stripped the ideas of MVP and incorporated them into their own... If RBI goes for a slightly more arcade type approach while still staying faithful to teams, players and depth, while avoiding the ridiculous broadcast annoyances and cut aways that bog down the pace and flow of modern day baseball video games, I'd rather have that.... I'll be buying the show on day 1 without a doubt, but if a baseball games worth is dropped to the depth of how many chin whiskers are rendered on a players face, I'll simply pass.

That's what we really need....MVP Baseball. I was stuck last gen buying The Show due to the fact that it was the best baseball game out there, meanwhile all my friends had X360's, so no mp. I refused to buy 2K baseball games last gen.

I'll prolly get both. RBI looks great for when you just want an Arcade style quick game with friends, and The Show is a great franchise for when you're wanting more depth.

I'm sure this has been said, but I'm not reading through this silly of a topic. MLB the Show is a 60$ AAA title, while RBI Baseball is a budget game that will cost somewhere in the range of 14.99$.
