Rayman leaked as DLC for Super Smash Bros. 4 (FAKE)

Multiple threads are popping up about this on /v/ and r/smashbros. This is real, this is happening. With the abundance of legit evidence shown, if you still think this is fake, you are stupid.

Thoughts? I don't care about Rayman but I'm glad this is happening, as it opens the door for more characters to be released as DLC.

EDIT: changed topic title from "confirmed" to "leaked," I know some naysayer is going to say "NOTHING IS CONFIRMED UNTIL NINTENDO SAYS IT!!!!!!!" which is technically true if you're fixated on semantics.

I see four shots that may be shopped with no in game footage. You say there is an abundance of evidence, is there something else?

Wasn't this an old rumor from a while ago? Either way, that's awesome. Would be cool if they could put Bayonetta in.

A completely unique render that fits Smash 4's artstyle and fits perfectly with the character select screen looks "shopped?" Not to mention that footage of the guy trying to select Rayman, which would be near-impossible to fake.

People were trying to be skeptical about the Duck Hunt, Bowser Jr, and Shulk leak too. And look how that turned out.

EDIT: that "fourth shot" isn't a shot, it's in-game footage of the character select.

What with his massive unibrow?

I was under the impression unibrows didn't have gaps. Newer depictions of Rayman show him with thick brows

The video footage is pretty damning.

Can't say I'me upset by the possible inclusion, and I'm very glad that they'll be adding more DLC than just Mewtwo. I just hope that there are even more characters and stages coming.

There isn't gameplay footage yet because Mewtwo and Rayman are unfinished. This hints at placeholder spots for them on the character select screen in an upcoming update, possibly for people who fulfill the requirements to unlock Mewtwo/prepurchase Rayman.

Really excited for this. Thinking back to my time with Legends and Origins, his moves sets would fit perfectly into Smash. Personally I'm hoping he also comes with a stage, because a stage based on Legends or Origins would be beautiful, and would also mean we could have some of the games amazing music added to Smash Bro's already fantastic soundtrack.

There is also an image that shows a new "Shop" icon on the main screen, meaning we could see more DLC. If it does happen I'm hoping we see a good mix of new and returning characters and stages, and maybe get the Smash 3DS stages in Smash WiiU.

Heads up: video got taken down, presumably removed by Nintendo.

To me this adds even more credit. Nintendo wouldn't care enough to remove it if the footage was fake.

Sorry for the double post, but I feel this deserves it's own. Just came across this image of the 3DS character screen, also containing both Mewtwo and Rayman. It's obviously not as high quality as the Wii U screens, but it does go a long way to adding even more validity to this already pretty convincing rumor.

If this is true then...

1. Way to lie about the DLC, Sakurai. Someone better make a gif of his face over Schwarzenegger's in Commando before he dropped one of the henchman (and that's if this is confirmed)

2. Rayman has no place in this after Ubi's BS, not just with RL on Wii U, but with their recent nonsense last year. May as well let EA throw in a Mass Effect character (and I already had nightmares of them appearing in a DBZ game alongside Dragon Age characters should EA ever get their hands on that franchise after Bandai).

Wouldn't be surprising since I believe there is a Smash trophy for Rayman.

I'm expecting him to play closer to Little Mac than Mario.

I'm expecting him to play like he does in Rayman Legends.

Well yeah. I meant more in terms of power. His punches will be close in strength to Little Mac's than Mario, because in Legends Rayman can one shot any enemy that isn't a boss. His movement and ability's make him the perfect choice for SSB DLC.

I just hope they bring back Snake at some point.

Though I wish we got the cut vets back- Lucas, Ice Climbers, Wolf, Snake- I support Rayman's inclusion. Hope this is true :)

Also about what Sakurai said, i bet this was planned since before the released of the game, hence the trophies, so technically, what he said about no future DLC characters is true.

Clearly I jumped the gun and made myself look like a fool, but after the ESRB leak turned out true I wasn't about to doubt a very legit-looking video of a functional character select screen.
