PSA: Dead Island 2 is being developed by Yager Entertainment

I keep seeing the new game being ripped here so I thought I'd make a topic. The new game is being made by Yager Entertainment and not the previous devs (Techland). Yager made Spec Ops The Line, and since this game is using Unreal 4, I have hope that it'll be good (regardless of the fact the last two were terrible).

Spec Ops wasn't a technically great game. It's strength came from Yager's inability to compete with AAA blockbusters, and their self-awareness of the genre.

Literally the only reason why I care.

so... basically after they try to be moralists about the violence in videogames with Spec-Ops they make... a violent game?

I cant stand them anymore. Its getting more tiresome and predictable than modern military shooters. It has come to the point when everytime I see somethin with zombies in it I instinctively roll my eyes

Hey, if it's not by Techland then theres hope.

I wish Yager were assigned Hellraid instead. Let Techland make their crappy zombie games.
