While that may be true the problems the PS4 is having are not just one singular issue. It is showing to be a poorly designed product from controller quality to the system getting bricked within the first bootup.

Unfortuantely Dec. and Jan are pretty dry periods for new games so I am expecting much lower sales till Feb when the big guns will be out.

There is a problem with all console,at least they did not do like MS remember.?

Everything is ok fail rate are under 3 to 5 %,and every time some one question on them on the fail rate,they say people were having a great experience,the fact that the xbox 360 design maker was denying RROD to be high 2 damn weeks before MS unveiled their 3 year warranty extension say it all about how bad things were.

Pretending that the fail rates are high will serve you for nothing,you have pretended many things over things pass months,nothing stopped the PS4 from owning the xbox one silly,and next week when MS start to dance around launch day numbers for the xbox one,it will be epic..

its called providing ressurance, in reality they know there is nothing wrong. when 1m consoles are sold three is bound to be a bad batch. u are an xbox fan anyway so why are u even concerned with ps4? if you dont like it dont buy it, its really that simple. btw xbox isnt touching this number in the us, take that to the bank

If the PS4 get one of this magnitude say something.

That thread was started on 2006 and still 7 years latter get post,is one of the oldest post running on neogaf that still get post and people don't get ban from reviving it when they face a problem.

There is one for the PS3 but you will find it nos even close to the 360 one.

So yeah go else where and pretend fail rate are high,after all the 360 sold less than half of what the PS4 sold in 1 day and had more problems..

While I do like the The One more I did buy a PS4 to resell and the widespread problems are hampering sales efforts ;)

On top of that I don't want to see Sony fold they are needed for competition and to keep MSoft honest. Sony can't afford to have a problem like this.

The 60GB launch PS3 had around 50-70 1 star reviews during its 8-12 month run on the market just to put things in perspective. With that being said, not everyone with a problem free ps4 or are experiencing problems have written a review. But a product with 30% of all reviewers saying their console was either bricked out of the box or bricked after playing does not bode well for the .04% affected number Sony has been throwing around.

With amazon.com you cannot tell who really purchased the system and who did not and to make sure of that even more i just submitted a review on amazon without even buying the freaking system.. i gave it a 5/5 and i do not own the system even just more lulz at the review system at amazon, it does NOT represent anything because anyone can just go and make a quick review.

If the xbxo360 a system that started terrible with one faulty system after another for months and months with people saying "eh its alright Ms can always replace it" im sure it will be ok with the PS4 and the small percentages of people who got a faulty system can always get the systems replaced.

1 million people bought a system with the most s****y launch lineup we've seen in a while. So, this is proof that all you need in order to sell your system is good hardware with some comments saying that it's "next gen". Games don't matter apparently.

Good for Sony, glad to see gaming is still such a mainstream business now. I doubt the X1 will match this on day1 but then they also have a somewhat different target audience, the first month sales numbers will be a more interesting figure for me. Going to work on Friday and looking at the lineups of people waiting for the PS4 seemed like it was mostly the younger crowd camping out, I don't think we'll see as much of that for the X1 on day 1.

It goes both ways though. Sony fans continued to push that sales didnt matter when the shoe was on the other foot. And both fans said sales didnt matter when the Wii was outselling them both.

Congrats to Sony though. Still not a fan of the UI and the controller (asymmetrical analogs FTW) but I'm a fan of what all 3 consoles have to offer and apart from what I said and some concerning failure rates I have high hopes for the system.

That probably represents about .00000001% of who bought a WobbleS4. Check Amazon and look at the confirmed issues. Also Sony has already come out and admitted there were problems and they are trying to fix them.

Almost all the big YouTubers online havent had a single problem playing the PS4.. again small percentages of people are having problems and now its everyone? LUL!Sony themselves confirmed the number of people with faulty systems are less than 0.04%

Those verified by Amazon have purchased the console from them. Over 500 1 and 2 star reviews for a newly launched product is concerning no matter how you slice it. The 60GB launch PS3 had around 50-70 1 star reviews during its 8-12 month run on the market just to put things in perspective. With that being said, not everyone with a problem free ps4 or are experiencing problems have written a review. But a product with 30% of all reviewers saying their console was either bricked out of the box or bricked after playing does not bode well for the .04% affected number Sony has been throwing around.

With amazon.com you cannot tell who really purchased the system and who did not and to make sure of that even more i just submitted a review on amazon without even buying the freaking system.. i gave it a 5/5 and i do not own the system even just more lulz at the review system at amazon, it does NOT represent anything because anyone can just go and make a quick review.

If the xbxo360 a system that started terrible with one faulty system after another for months and months with people saying "eh its alright Ms can always replace it" im sure it will be ok with the PS4 and the small percentages of people who got a faulty system can always get the systems replaced.

Dat 399 price tag. Its funny how brand loyalty goes down the drain when its cheaper. Gonna be hard

to match these sales MS unless you get the price down. People want a cheap system to play Duty and Madden and Fifa etc. Ps4 fits the bill.
