Resogun is a good game, but it's not a reason to buy a console. It's more like...a really nice benefit. Kinda like finding out your girlfriend has really pretty feet.
To those who haven't played it, think of it as this generation's Geometry Wars. It's a must-have if you have the console, just as GeoWars was if you had a 360. Something you can play more casually when you're not in the mood for the other launch games.

Admittedly, it is the best PS4 game I've gotten to play, but still. It's a downloadable title that could have been done on last gen hardware. It's not a system seller.

personally, I dont find either lineup justifying the buying of either console. Its what is likely to come down the pipes that is the selling point.

Yeah, I agree. The only reason I have a PS4 is because I have to have one for work. Being a game reviewer is expensive, yo.
Well, arent review scores everything? Dont we just know how good a game is compared to another by simply looking at a review score, or (even better) an average of multiple review scores? I know that's how i base every game buying decision.
