PlayStation 4 hardware sales have sold through more than seven million units worldwide as of April 6, Sony Computer Entertainment announced.
Software sales for PlayStation 4 games have surpassed 20.5 million sales as of April 13.
Over 135 million shares have been captured via the PlayStation 4 “Share” feature. Over 4.9 million gameplay broadcasts have been shared via video streaming platforms. And there has been over 90 million spectate sessions.
PlayStation 4 is currently available in 72 countries and regions.
“The response from the global gaming community for PS4 has been overwhelming and we are truly humbled that gamers are selecting PS4 as their next generation console of choice,” said Sony Computer Entertainment President and Group CEO Andrew House.
