PS4 HDD Full at 407GBs / X1 HDD Full at 362GBs.
That's a 45GBs difference, quite huge IMO.

Doesn't the xboxone have cloud storage?
Granted you can't put games but you can put a lot of the video recordings in it.
That's the power of marketing, when you think one machine has Cloud storage and one does not. That's a general statement, not targeting you, but legions of posters that are unaware and reading this right now. Not only do the Xbone and PS4 have Cloud Storage, the 360 and PS3 offer that. As a matter of fact, the PS3 had Cloud storage first between the four consoles. In fact, "The Cloud" was ammunition in SW for a period of time way back in the PS360 days as Cloud Storage came to PS3 way back and there was a lot of bickering for ownage, until the day came when the 360 matched the cloud feature, then those PS360 cloud storage debates faded away...until resurrected recently due to Xbone/PS4.
I guess if PR and marketing scream "Da CLOUDz!" and "Cloud Storage"! long enough, eventually people will start to think it's some sort of exclusive feature from whatever company is marketing the hell out of the buzz word. Don't worry, you aren't the first nor will you be the last person I see associating cloud as an Xbone Staple, and we are only talking cloud storage here. I don't blame you, this is more commentary on marketing in general as I'm just an observer and I see some patterns and repeated statements a lot here. The trolling I avoid, but I think you were being sincere, so I gave some insight if you want it.
I haven't even brought up the PC cloud features...haha. I laugh because I anticipated an angry hermit from quoting my timeline and inserting Cloud Storage on PC, but don't fret future angry PC fanboy guy, I know, I know. I am making this brief and chatting with Daious here.
The Cloud storage offered in the PS360XbonePS4 machines are not unlimited either. You have to use your space wisely.
The bigger problem with this very limited space on these machines is of course, the near 50GB games though...and those you can't put those huge Blu-ray games on the cloud as you well know.
In the end, The cloud storage features in these machines about negate each other which brings us right back to the TC's point about the machines differing HDD sizes.

old old old news and it only amounts to one more full game.
BTW tons of indie games can be stored in that 45GBs!

XB1 comes with tons of pre-installed software and the OS that is installed is undoubtedly larger.
You guys are making it seem like the space was stolen. Its a hard drive. Both companies will support external storage on USB 3.0. This is a lame thing to try to claim ownage over.
We have been dealing with worse on PC for years and it has never been a problem.

Did I know another account from you, way back when? Perhaps a few? I'm curious, where did you come across this mis-information? Are you guessing? Trolling? Did someone from a forum give you this mis-info? Perhaps you just didn't know and wanted to guess? Confusion? Don't know how to use your machines? It's peculiar as you posted incorrectly with such confidence right while I was talking about PR campaigns...
Anyways, yes, the PS4 does have cloud storage right now and it had it since the PS4 launch. The PS4 had cloud storage before the Xbone, as you know the PS4 launched first. The PS3 also had cloud storage before the Xbox 360. PC had it before both. Not a big deal, but I'll provide two links regarding the PS4 CLOUD STORAGE. I was tempted to ask if you got lost in your PS4 menus, but I see from your "troll/New Account" GS name (MrXboxOne) you may not have a PS4. I know you posted a nebraska pic of your PS4 and Xbone, so I'm going to just assume that you don't know how to use your PS4? I'm also well aware of your antics since you started posting under this GS Xbone account since your creation back in November 2013, a few months ago. No worries, I'm just making sure we are on the same page.
It is within the realm of possibilities that you don't know how to use your PS4 if you decide to claim you have one. That's fine, you need to go to the upper right hand side of the screen, to "Settings" and then scroll down to "System Storage Management". It's also possible the only outlet of information you get, that information you rely on, is unfortunately tainted internet forumite FUD mis-information. This happens every generation from users that do not have first hand experience with these machines, in this case the PS4. You have to be careful with that kind of biased forumer information. Below is a couple of links, one DIRECTLY from Sony and another site talking PS4 Cloud Storage for you. No Worries.
Again, this is A FANTASTIC STUDY ON HOW MARKETING AFFECTS SOME INDIVIDUALS. That Xbone Cloud PR and Marketing gave you false confidence and got you to post that Cloud Storage does not exist on the PS4 right now, when in fact it does. I was talking about PR and Marketing effects above before you quoted, and you posted so I thank you for proving my point.
Keep in mind too, that CLOUD STORAGE isn't going to come in play for a little while for both these new machines as they are so new, and there is very little software at this point in time to hog an entire HDD up so quickly.
GameInformer, GameTrailers, Gamespot, IGN and some other sites have done a breakdown on this Cloud Storage subject if you had bothered to keep up with the information on all the consoles.
On to some PS4 Cloud Storage information for you:
http://www.pushsquare.com/news/2013/11/guide_how_to_upload_ps4_save_data_to_the_playstation_plus_cloud
To manage your PS4 Save Data in online storage, navigate to [Settings] > [Application Saved Data Management] > [Saved Data in Online Storage]. From there, you will find 2 options:
Download to System Storage
By saving PS4 Save Data to online storage, you can download saved data to a PS4 system and continue playing a game without losing your game progress. To use this feature, you must have a subscription to PlayStation Plus.
Delete
This option allows for PS4 saves stored in cloud storage to be removed from the cloud.

Good day to you sir. I hope you appreciate the free information and various links cited. Truly, it's more interesting how powerful that PR and heavy marketing campaigns can be, I would say. PR and Marketing having the power of persuasion. Convincing users of untruths...that's far more engaging and intriguing than Cloud Storage info, but that's your reward for providing me with another example.
The storage space is exactly the same but possibly partitioned differently. Bits work exactly the same for both that add up to 465GB.

You're rapidly gaining a reputation as one of the most annoying trolls on SW's much like your fellow Xbone brethren (kingoflife, XBOunity). You're not even funny.
Vita, PS3, & PS4 all offer cloud storage. Stop being ignorant. Gaikai has nothing to do with this jackass.

I don't own an x1 but the size on the PS4 is pathetic. I got most launch games and my HDD is almost full already. So well, at least there's not any game comming out for a while, but it will really suck to de- and reinstall games all the time >__>

No kidding. Makes you wonder if these are school kids without a clue. On the bright side, it's back to school tomorrow.
Both are too damn small considering an HD game can be 25+ GB. At least you can change out the PS4's HDD without voiding the warranty.
I really don't understand what MS was thinking with the whole non-replaceable HDD crap. You think they would have learned after last generation.

@EZs: This is because The xbox One has a lot of OS software and pre-installed apps on there.
A lot more than on the PS4.
That’s why you would see the Xbox One taking a little longer to load the Xbox One dashboard at times toward the PS4’s which is faster.
This isn’t a game changer IMO.
As to some people it might be. BUT THAT CAN ONLY BE A FEW.

If answering that simple question was my only point that would have worked, but it wasn't. That approach in SW often results in pages of debate and long quote chains as well. There is nothing wrong with intelligent debate as I'd rather cover all the angles...and my main point wasn't about answering just that question anyways.
I was also drumming up a possible conversation whilst answering his question, nothing wrong with that.
Besides, telling him yes wouldn't tackle the underlying theme of PR and Marketing effects because this chap was the 100th person I've seen attribute Cloud Storage to the only the Xbone. I wanted to tackle that and open his eyes to that possibility. That was a message I haven't tackled much recently, and I'm bored of answering the Cloud Storage answer when this misinformation keeps popping up. I have to keep engaged too, right? I found his remark interesting because it's a thought process that is repeated a lot in SW when it comes to Cloud Storage.
There is beauty here though. You can even see another user a few posts above, MrXboxone, pipe up with misinformation on PS4 Cloud Storage in this thread as well. Despite my message about Marketing, that user Quoted me and denied the PS4's Cloud Storage. That a bonus! It's actually hilarious and a great example of possible PR and Marketing effects as he did it with great confidence despite being 100% wrong, although the jury is out if MrXbone was just trolling as more and more SW users do these days.
Intelligent debate is almost dead in SW and asking users to refrain from using their noggin isn't a good sign.
You're rapidly gaining a reputation as one of the most annoying trolls on SW's much like your fellow Xbone brethren (kingoflife, XBOunity). You're not even funny.
