PS1 has super quality sound abilitys!

The link is to a norwegian site, but it roughly says that early PS1 models SCPH-1001/2 has the same sound quality as CD players that cost around 30 000 - 40 000 NOK = 5000 - 6600 $.

It is the RCA output on the back that has superior quality compared to newer models.

So all you HIFI sound freaks bring out those PS1's;)

Woot, I just bought Grandia again (can't believe I never finished it), and yes, the sound in that game is awesome!

EDIT: Oh, it's only in old Ps1's, oh well.

Well, I cant get Dolby Digital 5.1 on a ps1, so ill stick to my 360 :).
