Loving this game.

So far my team is:

- Wartortle

- Ivysaur

- Charmeleon

- Pikachu

- Pidgeotto

- Gengar

Mine hasn't come yet so now I get to wait until Monday...yay.

Yeah, well I was lucky enough to have a female Froakie. I bred it until I had about 25 eggs, then started trading them off for any gen 1 starters I could... took me almost no time at all to get all 3 plus all 3 new starters; heck even female ones :D

Char bought a Vita in honor of this game.

You get Gen 1 starters after you win the first gym badge.

Man I'm really taking my time. I just got to the town that has the second gym and my four party pokemon are level 28-29. I also have almost two boxes of pokemon already just because when I see a pokemon I don't have yet I try to catch it.

Picked up Y, because I broke. I was gonna wait a week or so. Not sure of starter, yet, as i'm coming in 100% blind.

How do I get a totadile?

Yeah I have like 7 premier balls. Catching Smeargle was a b*tch, I didn't want it to use sketch on the crappy moves I have now so it was using struggle and I only had one real chance to catch it. I also ended up getting a Bagon from the GTS, it's got some Japanese nickname and that always bothers me but oh well.

Does anyone know if the Cloud storage for pokemons available right now? or is Nintendo going to make it available at a later date? i hope its working so i can store the starter pokemons and then i can have the 3 of them from the start instead of just going with one starter pokemon -_-

I searched on the eshop for pokemon bank and nothing came up.

I got it played for a while I have Frogadier, Vivillion, Bulbasaur, Torchic, Zigzagoon, and Pidgey in my party so far.

Must... resist... using... Crawdaunt... again...

How do you get the mega stone for Gengar? I really want it, I have the Gengar already

They should've just made Houndoom evolve into that. It's not like houndoom was any good anyways. That's how I feel about half of these mega evolutions.

They probably initially made some of the mega evos as just next step evolutions. I reckon they only became mega evos to pad out numbers, they probably didn't have enough otherwise.

I saw a lot of people buying it today. 2DS, too. I think it was the 2DS.

Picked up Y, and I'm glad I did it's freaking amazing! So far my team is Froakie, Combusken, Pansage, and Riolu. Just finished first gym.

I would have chosen bulbasaur if I hadn't chosen chespin for my starter. I like all of the kanto starters but Venesaur has always been my favorite.

Got squirtle because I have a Fletchinder.

Picked Squirtle (even though Mega Charizard X looks awesome)

I went with Bulbasaur this time. Although I love Squirtle and Charizard is awesome, after choosing Froakie I just couldn't pass up on Bulbasaur. Poison being super-effective against Fairy, plus his Mega getting the ability "Thick Fat" made him too good to pass up.

You can't, not yet, not unless the Johto starters are secretly available in the game. Come December end, though, and you should be able to without issues.

So I just did a wonder trade since it popped up on the touch screen. Sent over a Mawile. Got a gulpin named fat fuc.

Wonder Trades are awesome, as long as you don't put your best Pokemon up for offer.

Yeah I bet every now and then you'll get someone who's sending really good pokemon like Kyogre and shit just for fun.

Also this game seems insanely easy. Like half the trainers I fight my pokemon are 5-10 levels over them. I've been fighting and capturing a lot of wild pokemon (have two boxes already) but still, it seems like they should've taken the new xp share into consideration more.

Yeah, it's stupid how easy it is. I guess that keeps things moving though, so eh...
