You see it everyday on this board. It will sell imo. Will it maintain sales. That's the question. Just look at the LACK of outrage over the Drive5 fiasco on the internet. Imagine that was Forza having those problems.

PSP Go - Complete flop. Didn't even last a year.

PSNow - Flopping currently. Unless they can correct the WiFi lag and produce a monthly/yearly fee.

PS Move - Another complete flop that was worse then Kinect. Sony abandoned it without telling anyone.

Watched the Quick Look, and it seems like a really redundant device. I like how small it is though.

I don't buy video game devices because they're cute though. There has to be a very good reason to own it and I can't think of any that's worth the $99 price tag.

PSP was in no way a flop, it sold fucking 80 million units worldwide and was sony's (yes, the entire company's) main source of money for a good three years there or so.

Shitting on Sony is better after all the trolling Cows and Ponies did with MS XB1. I would take an XB1 over the crappy PS Move, PSP Go, PS Now and PS TV any day of the week. All the cows calling XB1 crap should take their heads out of Sony's ass and look at some of the crap Sony has brought to the market. Bunch of hypocrites. Don't get me wrong M$ has make crappy products as well. Windows Vista, Window 8, the first two Surface tablets and the MS original phone were all crap as well. The XB1 is far from crap however. I don't think the Wii U is crap either.

Too many unsupported games. I wanted one, but I think I'll have to buy a Vita instead.

A list of things they messed up on with PS TV:

-Not being able to use the PS Vita as a controller while a Vita cartridge or digital game is running off of the PS TV was a huge mistake. Many games are not compatible with PS3 and PS4 controller due to the lack of touchscreen and camera. Being able to quickly play all your PS Vita games on the TV with your PS Vita in hand would have been ideal and crucial to success of this platform.

-They could have turned the touch pad on the PS4 as a solution for touch screen on Vita and the Playstation Eye as the Camera.

-1080p upscale would have been wise.

-Lacking Netflix, Hulu Plus, and Amazon Instant Video is ridulous for a streaming platform that is competing with Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire TV.

-Sony needs to get rid of proprietary memor cards and PS TV could have been the start. It is one of the big reasons 3DS kick the Vita's but sales wise.

Sony really has potential with this platform but they need to quickly fix many problems as of right now its nearly a useless box.

Haha. I have that preordered! And Freedom Wars too. And I'm also trying out Minecraft for the first time on Vita. Yea, Vita doesn't have games alright.

I may get one, if Vita support is increased.

A lot of this stuff can be improved, but while I was really quite interested, my instincts tell me that Sony will half ass the effort they put into this.

See, getting the PS4 and X1 bare bones at launch is tedious, but you know they'll work their ass off to turn it into something and even that's taking time. Sony has had so much time with the PS Vita already, and the Playstation TV has already been out for almost a year in Japan, so I just don't feel like Sony truly cares which is a real shame. Sometimes they come out with great stuff and don't even try to support it.

On paper it sounds like a great device and a great opportunity. But I'm not rushing into anymore consoles now. I've learnt my lesson with the X1.

No, because I've already got a 3DS and Vita to play when I'm away from home, and it sounds like it has some major flaws anyway. Some of the issues could be fixed I suppose. I don't know what to make of this device or if there'll be a large market for it.

I was relaying the fact that he is wrong about people shitting on Sony. Instead, everyone is shitting on Microsoft/ Xbox One these days, it's the "cool" thing to do. You see it everywhere in the media. How am I a hypocrite? I haven't really said shit negative about the Xbox One since it's horrible reveal (because the reveal was indeed horrible). In fact, I say it has the better game line up than the PS4 (which is overhyped). Phil has been doing everything right to clean up Xbox One's image.

I would. I have a Vita already but I want to reduce the number of devices I have to worry about battery life for. Plus I prefer playing games with a controller. I would've gotten this instead of a Vita if it had been available at the time.

I can see myself getting one, but not any time soon. I hope more Vita games are supported in the future, and more controller options.
