Play NBA 2k15 for free on X1 this weekend

So, the game is set to be unlocked this weekend for all Gold subscribers. You can carry over your saves and achievements if you opt to buy the game after the trial. There's also going to be a 40 percent discount on the game and all related content.

Where's the free part?

Hmm, cool, it's been a long time since I've played one so perhaps I'll give it a whirl if only to see what should be great visuals.

Nothing is free in this world then. You need a console or PC to game on, but you have to buy it, so free games are actually not free at all...

Not really the same

Nice, I'll give it a try and create some weird faces with the Kinect and unlock a couple of cheevos. I'm digging how Xbox Live is unlocking these full retail games to check out for the weekend.

The game is fun, version a step up over last generation but there's some huge features, like stadium accuracy, and smaller ones, like the ins and outs of basketball, that are poorly done.

They should do this for Halo: MCC, that might get people to go back to it.

They should allow you to download it already. Honestly, the file sizes of these games kinda ruin it, seeing as it's only for the weekend.
